Title: Costumes/Cosplay
Post by: Boomstick on September 01, 2009, 12:23:21 am
OK Forumites!!  Let's show your costuming creativeness.  Whether it just be designs or actual items you made/purchased.

To start things off, here is my first ever costume:  Red Halo Military uniform (in progress, but should be finished by Thursday night the 3rd of Sept.)

This was the first wonderfully successful print.

this is the screen with the logo not washed out yet.  Google screen printing processes if you are unsure of what this is used for.

Nice.  Can't wait to see the finished product.  I'll probalby steal heavily from be greatly inspired by this as I pursue my own very similar project (at my usual snails pace.  When you're older than time itself you tend to procastinate more than mortals can understand.)

I'm not usually into any sort of costume play, but I would definitely like to go to Dragoncon as a Metrocop.

I'm more attracted to it than others because, as far as fully-armored gasmasked oppressors go, the metrocop costumes seem A) a bit easier to construct than most, and B) a bit more recognizable.
