272  General Discussion / Random Stuff / Re: The Insanity Episode VIII: The Waffles Strike Back on: November 24, 2011, 08:15:24 pm
Because no one has posted pictures of waffles in ages.

We need waffles up in this thread STAT!
Indeed. The lack of waffles in this thread waffled me.  laugh
Oh my. It appears the waffles are pouring boiling syrup over this thread now. It's gonna
get messy.

Another entry from Assassin's Creed (Brotherhood AND Revelations) makes this list.
As a result of a glitch, I've seen guards that my brother and I have killed...only to get back up as if nothing happened.
None of the other guards nearby notice, and they seem to be "infected" by the glitch, also (although
civilians do notice). We seize this rare opportunity to try out some kill animations on them such as poisoning, shooting,
stabbing, you name it. Once we deem that they no longer serve a useful purpose, we throw them off a cliff or
a lake as a punishment for tainting the game with their glitchiness.

I'm like 10 pages into The Hunger Games and I can't focus. For some reason when the main character is a teenager, I just don't care anymore. Unless it's Harry Potter.
Everyone I talk to always brings up Hunger Games. At first, I thought that the reason for this
was that it was close to lunch time, but then I found out it has nothing to do with food.  Huh?

Just finished reading World War Z and moving onto the comic version of the Zombie Survival Guide: Recorded Outbreaks.
Never gets old.

<-- A depiction of me having freshly-caught pants for dinner.
I was trying out my irregularly large spoon and fork, and it sure is nifty. Smiley

I love how in Assassin's Creed: Revelations, I can just steal from large mobs of people.
Following that, I lead the angry crowd to a narrow alleyway and proceed to beat
the crap out of them. By the time I was done, there was a massive pile-up of writhing civilians.
New passersby would get stolen from and I repeat the process.   laugh

When I get tired of THAT, I use the new hookblade to sweep people off their feet (making them fall flat on their face).
Bonus points if they're on the stairs and/or carrying something.

Jasper's got the typical evil villain features: narrow cheekbones and a goatee.
I bet he lives in a secret volcano lair and practices his monologue in front of the mirror
while stroking a cat. Hmm...

Also, I noticed that Charlie's got his infected badge on now! Yay! Cheesy

Granted. You passed by your classes in the hallway, and got 3 days detention for skipping them.

I wish that I had a ninja-pirate-robot-zombie.

Speaking of Sims... Grin

Granted. You are now a fire hydrant. Have fun with the dogs.

I wish that I could remember my dreams.

Pokémon, anyone? In a double battle with a tag-a-long NPC, I use Earthquake as much as possible...
even if it makes the companion's Pokémon faint. Heck, I even use Bite and Confuse Ray specifically aimed at them,
and the best part is: they don't do a single thing about it, except heal my Pokémon afterwards.

In Red Dead Redemption, there's even an achievement for being a jerk...

The old tie-a-lady-to-the-train-tracks. Funny to watch them splat when the train speeds by.
Although, they seem to magically disappear if you look away for too long.
282  General Discussion / Game Discussion / Video Game Cruelty on: November 15, 2011, 08:36:34 pm
Explained here. Don't you just love it when you get the chance to go all psycho in the middle of a video game?
Even in such a seemingly innocent game like the Sims, there's just so much potential for cruelty that you can't resist.
Let's see some creativity flowing here, I wanna know how to torture video game characters in the sickest way possible.

Woot.  Cheesy
The good ol' days are coming back.

Charlie: the saddest zombie-human I've ever seen. Also the only zombie-human I've ever seen.
What he needs is a hippopotamus.  Cheesy

It might also depend on how they like their candles. Are they lit or rallied?
Perhaps both; I've seen candles do sillier things.
