Mom is learning and relearning some awesome desserts and snacks like chewy cookies, crepes, and banana chocolate chip cake. My dream of desserts all day seems to be moving closer for every new recipe learned. After desserts day, it'll be back to rice.

Watched Super 8. Was told that it was supposed to be a 'family movie'. My kid sister definitely didn't agree, and it took my family a little after halfway through that it wasn't a 'family movie'. As a sci-fi thriller, though, it was pretty good. Features explosions and things that go boom.
