Thankyou. I think... :-)

Agreed Grey Wolf. Zombies would be a major issue in centres of population, which is why I will be making for the hills. Any zombies out that way will be hopefully few enough in number to be able to deal with.

Definitely have a group of useful people to accompany you, as surviving on your own is unlikely.

Although written for a bit of fun, here's my take on the whole zombie apocalypse survival thing, and what I'd do if  I was able:

Zombie Apocalypse Protectorate - our plan

Run for the hills! And be prepared.
I'm off to an island. I know zombies can't be drowned, but we'll fight them on the beaches.

I tend to agree - if it happened today, most of us would be dead in a month and not due to zombie predation. Due to starvation, disease and inter-human conflict.

Personally, I'd head for a rather nice little island I know of, 12 miles from the mainland and about a square mile in area.

Fatman, the link doesn't seem to work for me. Sad

To be honest, I don't think zombies would be such a problem as they are slow, and the most basic of precautions could protect against this kind of threat. The biggest problem would be rival survival groups, and tension would increase as food supplies dwindle.

Now that would be fun. but as we all know, zombovirus hominoidus only infects the higher primates and sheep. Smiley

Good day everyone, pleased to be aboard. I found you guys after an internet search for zombie forums, and here you are. I like the zombie culture, and have an interest in how we'd survive if civilisation was to ever collapse. (Which it may well do.) Catch you around the board. Smiley
