Definitely a harbinger of the zombie apocalypse.

"We have located emission-0 at a small, take-away curry shop on East Northampton Street.  Apparently, he was served a new, experimental curry concoction by the chef, a Mr. Abdul Alhazred.  A passerby reports that he stood up, shouted "holy crap that's good!" and collapsed over his table.  Approximately 20 seconds later, the passerby heard "a small explosion" and saw other patrons staggering out holding their noses and gasping.  Shortly thereafter, their words became garbled and they began to moan and approach other people on the street and attack them."

Because we're the types that actually never give up.
Probably on anything.
Definitely not Jenny.

My guess is that we're still on her list, and she's working her way back.
Probably with a virtual machete.  Possibly with virtual explosions.
48  Forum Community / Community Events / Body Count Poll! on: June 09, 2016, 08:02:09 pm
The counts could go pretty high, so...rules.
Counting counts only within the story arcs themselves.
That means no counting the original megadeaths.

Welcome Back.
We have been waiting for you.
Yes, I am a smug bastard...

Or....a Dark Shadow steps forth.  It's hands spew loud fire...and Jenny is now alone.

Milo steps out of the shadows.

You might have to actually reference it as a source...but that might not be a horrible thing, depending.
Credibility gain could be worth it.

Man, I suck at fanfic.  Here goes:

Jenny looks back in panic, then she looks forward into the unknown.
 Roll Eyes
A solid, if crude, door made of glued-up 2x4s set into a stone-concrete wall is there!

Jenny opens the door...grunting...damn, this door is f-ing massive...and shuts it.
Holy crap, there's a actual bar for the door.
(Much barring of doors)
(Much loud impactings...obviously futile...that door is fracking SOLID. Wow.)
Here, in the a hoard of medieval weapons...and honest-to-god armor...
And maybe...just maybe...a  Outlaw with an upgrade

(Obviously, feel free to delete this or use this at your whim.  Rights ceded to Jenny. Smiley )

Now, you've poked my exposed brain with sharp stick again.
Brave thing to do.

Now, I'm wondering what the best hand-to-hand weapon set would be against zombies.

First thoughts:
*  Platemail, full with helm.  Smooth metal, no slashing flanges.  But tall flanges on the small, bite-able areas like fingers.  Zombie jaws might cause problems there.
*  2 reinforced chest areas with small explosive charges, one front, one back.  (Last ditch, you've-been-gang-tackled, weapon)
*  Blade-mace?  No point, but basically a handle, cross-guard, 3-inch wide blade for like 2-feet, with a flanged mace head at the end.  Crunch or behead at your option.

Can you draw this?

You twisted, evil bah-stahd.   Yes, I am a smug bastard...

Only you could force my brain to conjure up the horrors of:
Undead Parrot Attacks!
---A combination of the zombie virus with Hitchcock's The Birds---

The horror.  The avianity.

55  Roleplaying / RPG Graveyard / Why human-flesh-eating zombies? What are they REALLY getting out of it? on: April 08, 2016, 06:22:55 am
I'm sure there are creepier alternatives and rationales.

NUTS!  NEvar!
We shall battle to the end and then go Beyond!
Beyonder-class buttkicking!

 Outlaw with an upgrade
And cake.  Somehow, there should be cake somewhere.
 totally a lie...
And maybe a functional Thorium reactor using LFTR technology.
THAT would be unexpected.

Always remember the fringe benefit of Elder Evil Employment:
They will eat you last.
He love you long time  (I know.  But squint a bit, and it's a shaggoth.)
