PP: A general lack of manners and bad spelling on the internet. I can't tell whether I'm talking to elementary school children or adults.

This, without a doubt.

PP2: This weather. Overly warm, sunny and might even force me to not wear my jacket.
Also makes me feel sick (Sore throat, stuffy nose and cough). And then there is Summer...
4967  General Discussion / General Discussion / Re: The Anti-Peeve rides again! on: April 16, 2010, 12:50:53 pm
AP: That feeling of finding a hidden gem (Panzer Tactics DS for me this time).

AP2: Last period Financial Accounting on a Friday. Less than half our class of 15 kids showed up. Wonder how many stayed.

Just picked up Panzer Tactics DS for $11.29!
That feeling of finding such gems for so cheap... For me, that is worth more than getting an R4.
Could have saved hundreds though, but the feeling...

Missed out on Drone Tactics (Same price) and Orcs and Elves/Polarium (Combined comes up to roughly the same price as well).

Bernard Cornwell - The Burning Land

It's his latest in the Warlord series. Bloody brilliant.

I should check out more of his stuff, but I'm content with that series and Azincourt.
And I still can't thank you enough.

Completed Broken Sword and back to Etrian Odyssey II and Final Fantasy IV Advance (God-damn traditional gameplay, with an ambush/random battle every few steps. But I love it nonetheless).
And possibly Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker, If I can remember which monsters I want to synthesize next.

Hoping that my local game store has a copy of Killer 7 used. But then again, who would buy such a game?

TIL that the voice actor for Coby in One Piece sounds just like Fuyuki Hinata from Sergeant Frog.

Yes, I'm at I think Mission 7 or 8. And even then I just barely skimmed past a few of them. Like I said, artillery confuses me, I know they're an indirect attack unit, but for some reason I just can't attack units that are only a few squares in front, it's kinda annoying. But if I REALLY get stuck, my flash cart has cheats programmed for most games in it, so I'll just use that to get past a level I'm stuck on.

You will need it for Mission 20... And for a few others.
They are 2-3 Range, right? And if possible, I usually substitute Artillery with Rocket Launchers.

Most of the games I'm stoked for have been out for years.

Porco Rosso and Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind.
Loved the beginning of the first one and the second one, Patrick Stewart!

If Call of Duty could have full VO, then I guess Broken Sword should as well. With it being an adventure game, it would have made it even better. But I still can't get over how much space it would take... Since chatting with characters is half the game.

I am so horrible at Advance Wars:DoR. And Beware of Mission 20! Full air supremacy!

Might be playing Beneath a Steel Sky soon.
And have I ever told you how much you rock with that avatar lately?

PP: Feel sick on such an easy day. And on a late opening to add to that.

PP2: Just sneezed on my headphones... Could be worse at least.

Didn't they cut the voice acting out for that one?

Unfortunately. But would the DS have been able to hold such an amount of VO for an adventure game?

Halfway through Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars (DS), and loving every moment of it.
Great story with bits of comedy, likeable characters, puzzles that make you think (Even if there are sliders and decoders, which aren't too bad surprisingly) and great environments.

Definitely one of the better ports around.

Pre-Parade (Opening theme to Toradora!)

Porco Rosso for about 10-20 minutes, and then it froze.
My computer wouldn't play Castle in the Sky or Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, so I'll probably try again tomorrow on my DVD player.

Purchased Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars (The Director's Cut) for the DS.
Might even replace Etrian Odyssey II for possession of my DS.
