Ah, then I say go and play AoM as the Norse. Don't know why I thought we had a conversation about something similar to this. Must be a time paradox thing.

Really don't know how you people beat those games... Is it through trading to get the elite uber ones you can't normally get through regular play?

I barely touched my copy of Age of Mythologies, to me it doesn't feel as good as Age of Kings.
Even if the civilizations all have their own units and Gods, it doesn't feel as good as the one I've grown up with. But... I think that explains it for me, either that or I was sufficient with my fix of the franchise with AoK for the DS.
And you played AoK on the DS before, right? Getting another sense of deja vu of a prior deja vu.

A bit of a rant, senseless, and to keep on topic, DQM: Joker; got a slug with large lips, a mole with a shovel and a Platypunk named Perry.

Currently watching Ah! My Goddess, it's nice so far, but feeling like a wuss watching it. Kinda like watching Ouran High School Host Club.
So to make up for it, some Samurai Champloo.

AP: Star Wars marathon tomorrow.
Unfortunately, I must file a sick day for the TZH forum tomorrow.

AP2: Samurai Champloo anime, only the first episode and loving it.

Charles probably wouldn't, he's making his way home to rest and recuperate. And to go to the dry cleaners, eventually. Blood is quite difficult to get out once it's soaked through.

And it's a good thing cops don't keep tabs on all the deaths and killings, it would be troublesome if they do.

That sounds like an amazing game! And all I know about it is from what you just said.

KotOR, finished a quest on Korriban, one on Tatooine and got executed for wanton violence in the Sith Embassy on Mannan. That last one was amusing, since that never occurred in any of my other playthroughs.

Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker, must be my 4th time restarting. I'll definitely try harder this time around to finish it.

Afro Samurai: Resurrection
All kinds of bad-ass. Retains the style, music and awe-inspiring violence.
The opening bridge battle was a highlight; a beautiful tapestry of blood.

I definitely agree with you there. And I can say this will be the worst day for him as of yet.

He'll owe Claire one, as he has some sense of honor and gratitude, even if it's towards another species.
And for Archie... Not so much, as he did roast his Blackberry. Even though he gave him the vial to counteract the silver afterward.

Probably with Custom Robo Arena, something about it that irks me, not including the story.

Same question, I can't think of a new one.

Another technicality that I failed to notice... Failing so many awareness checks...

Looks like both of my characters will be out of commission for an unspecified amount of time. Curse their lack of invulnerability...

I admit that I thought it was some happy slime, until Milly mentioned how she saw it like a parrot.

"Mr Vampire, you are in no position to threaten me," the skeleton said. "You think you are above everyone because you are a vampire, but look at yourself. If I wanted to I could kill you and it would rid me of a vampire that may or may not cause me trouble in the future. But tonight, I don't feel like it."

Bastard.. How dare he... We are above you scum... We are...

The skeleton stepped back from Thomas and said, "My business calls and it is deeper within the city." He pulled a vial from one of his jacket's pockets and sat it near Thomas. "Here, the bullet I shot you with was made of silver. Deathly poisonous to werewolves and to a somewhat lesser extent vampires, what is within that vial is a tonic that will counteract the effect that the silver has on you."

Charity? Charity... An insult... Charity from his kind... And silver... Damn, thought it was... Different...

The skeleton turned from Thomas and began to reapply his disguise. "If you want to come after me after this, go ahead. My name is detective Archibald Cornweather." After he had given his name, he turned his head back to look at Thomas and said, "And I do believe that I never got your name."

Rasping, he got onto his elbows and spoke, "Damn your charity... It's an insult... But... As you have given your name... Archibald..." He looked at Archie in the eyes, with fire in his own and replied, "Thomas... Kelvin... And I will find you again... I swear it."

It's more of a re-re-edit though...
And is it just me, or is TZH running a bit slow? But that might be because I have 3 windows of it open...
Also, uncertain if a vampire that young has a good healing factor. Wolverine, he isn't.
5129  Roleplaying / RPG Graveyard / Re: The Supernaturals on: December 20, 2009, 10:59:24 pm
Thomas ran to the skeleton as his mind swarmed with thoughts.
Damn bastard skeleton! I will crush his bones, grind them into dust and scatter them around the town!
Even had the nerve to mess with my suit and blackberry! The God-damn nerve!

As he was running, the skeleton pulled out an old six-shooter. Damn- Dammit! Shut up! Think rationally! Lesser beings think illogically! Not thinking things through! Concentrate on reaching him! Concentrate on the gun he pulled out! Nearly there! Nearly- Wait, what? Gun? Gun?! Aw fu- Reaching his arm, he was about to lunge forward in a desperate bid to draw the gun away when the gun fired.

The sound tore through the night and echoed into silence. Close enough to grab the skeleton, Thomas blinked and soon stumbled, missing the skeleton entirely. He tumbled to the ground, breathing raggedly and fell onto his side wondering what just happened.

... What just happened... A shot... But... Not a normal lead- Normal bullet. Damn... Damn... He rolled onto his stomach, his forehead meeting the ground. Speaking out loud, "bastard... First magic and then... Guns, have you no courage for a... Head on battle?" Resting on his elbows, he rolled onto his back, gritting his teeth. Drill the point... Into him... Looking at the skeleton, he said, "mark my words, you... Will pay... Thomas Kelvin swears by it."

Not Mi- Oh ho! I see what you did there! But my character might have slightly more respect for yours and much more hatred after yours shot him.
