I imagine setting up special pens in lightly zombie prone area’s where a zombie can be harnessed if possible, and safely released at the student in safe environment where the chance the zombie would be able to harm the student would be low. You’d prolly have a supervisor standing beside the student to stop the zombie should the student’s actions accidentally free the zombie.

Age wise i would start early with basic skills like hand to hand, and melee weapons. Prolly the first weapons I'd teach would be knives, and clubs. Then swords. Then move onto firearms.
257  General Discussion / Zombie Stuff / Would the social order still exist? on: July 10, 2011, 03:18:00 am
This has been a thought floating around in my head for a long while. The idea being…

Will certain social norms like Class which dictates social status, especially in older cultures where these norms are still a major part of the society still apply?

Example: To spite defending a small village from an incoming horde of the dead. You’re still  “just “ a fisherman…

To begin teaching our kids how to do battle zombies?

How do we teach? What do we teach? How long do we teach before we alow them to take on thier first zombie?

All very possible outcomes.

In the pre-end of the infection days one of my main goals was to continue some form of eductaional system. (yeah, you don't really think your getting outta school do you you little booger eats?).

Though I think in the post infection days we would prolly stay in out small survival bands. But still try to regain whats been lost. Farming will prolly become a major industry, aswell as livestock, and houseing.

I think we would take a second look at how we build our homes. Homes would prolly be multi level with the basement actully being above ground, and the first floor being reached by steps. I don't think anyone here would really belive it was totally over.

The outbreak is over. For the most part every zombie on earth is no more. The human race can now come out of hiding. It's time to rebuild.

How do we live? How have our lives changed?

1. I don't know if I'd be willing to head to a refugee camp. To me it seems like you'd be more a thanksgiving dinner in a large group. The zombies are going to head straight to the largest food source.

2. Yeah, I'd prolly head to the refugee camp in this case.

Granted. You crawl out into the zombie infested streets, and are stepped on by the mass of stomping feet.

I wish I had a steak.
