In my opinion the only real flaw with castles is that the best way to defeat thier massive strength, is to go after the people inside. Before they could launch dead animals and people over the way, people used to just wait outside. The people inside were trapped without hope of resupply. Zombies are just going to keep stacking up outside the walls.

I just got it today and brought it straight home and popped it in.
First Impressions
Story: It's basiclly a "What If" take on the classic series core story. Not much of a Story.
Game Play: It's mostly a Point A to B game. You can choose a Team with various skills sets and play through the various episodes.
Control: Kinda clumsey. For some reason they made the pick up item button, and evade button the same button. When running you evade by hitting that button, so you can't pick up items on the run. Its often easy to push the wrong button in the heat of combat.
Team AI: Its clear this game was made to be played on-line, so in single player the Team AI lacks. Often NPC team members will stand still in the middle of the line of fire, or stand there and get grabbed by enemies. This isnt good since in some of the boss battles require a team effort.
Weapons: Weak. You'll unload clips into one enemie.
Boss Battles: Bend over, this is going to hurt...
Challange: Yes. For the wrong reasons.
Replay: Finish it and turn it in for the points. Put it towards another game.

The North Koreans would prolly put the Zombies to work in thier army. Until they fail to worship the Dear Leader, and are shot cause they can't be re-educated.

North America: If Iraq couldnt hold off a U.S. backed Coalition. A bunch of retarded dead people aint got a chance.
China: Cause people are no obstacle. They just flooded an entire valley and tilled the earth doing it. Need I say more?

To me the only problem with using established buildings is that thier made to be visible. Thats not just going to attract zombies, but people I don't really want to deal with who might think they have more of a right to my groups supplies. Don't get me wrong. There are advantages to already standing buildings.

Ok, so you and your group have found an area that is relatively zombie free, or the zombie population can be dealt with quietly. You have the tools and equipment to build a colony.
What would you build?
I'd prolly build some kind of stockade wall around the colony. The entrance would be a reverse draw bridge that opens up rather then down. As for homes, they would prolly be simple A frames, unless or until we get our hands on better building materials.

General Discussion / Zombie Stuff / Age...

Do you think a subjects age at time of death would effect how effective of a zombie they would be? Say would a 70 year old zombie be weaker then a 30 year old zombie? Would a child zombie be quick? Would age related mental deterioration make a diffrence in the zombies already limited mental function?
