On a SIDE note, I love her bangs. Oh faceless intern so we don't have to credit you, I love your ginger hair and want to know you.

Maureen is all

And Jesus, that frigging game. You're only not ragequitting to prove everyone wrong. You're only hurting yourself, Jenny, you're only hurting yourself.

Also that window is an arrow, it just needs a sign that says "aim here". Jus' saying. Or perhaps its a secondary target over the ample cleavage. I'm grossing myself out, I'll stop.

...

Giant statue tits.

SHIT'S ABOUT TO GET REAL!

And in that game news, your fox girl has some wicked thunder thighs!

Totally not on topic but every time I read couchforts screen name I think of this.

I wish I was that cool. That dog is fantastic. Unfortunately I got it from this around the same time this page was new, and I kinda been using the name for pretty much everything via the interweb since. I use the name on every webcomic I comment on, so you can pretty much find me all over the place.

Pretty sure it was also my name on L4D if I'm not mistaken.

I really like the rain effect in the last panel. Like a rough painting or something. It's really neat!

Your fox girl's stance is SASSY!

Did a post get deleted somewhere? Because otherwise this conversation evolved in quite a strange manner. Also, Jenny, don't try DayZ. It's terribad.

From the blog post below the comic:

So… I started playing this mmo game Tera. I made a warrior fox person because it was the only female character that seemed to actually wear clothes, as opposed to dental floss and bits of tape. If its going to be this blatant I'm thinking to myself--damn fellas-just make a porno, haha. Granted the character I made seems to be basically pedo bait and in previous versions they were actually wearing bikini-like-type outfits (Ew!). What shocked me more is the backlash that occurred when the changes were made--its like guys no, no no no. I don't care if they are supposed to be a billion years old, they look and act like 10, if you got bent out of shape because of the so called 'censorship' you need to go to jail right now. >Sad

Anywhoo.

I have no idea what I am doing, or if this will hold my interest at ALL-- but everything looks so damn pretty
.

That is a plus, and I do see the appeal to MMO's. But I also see the appeal to the television series, Mad Men. What do these two things have in common? They bore the crap out of me! Grin

It feels like no matter how they doll it up, all those games have pretty much the same combat system. Doink 40 dmg, doink 40 dmg, doink CRIT 100 DMG!!!! doink 40 dmg, Vibrant Radio Demon was defeated! 500xp!

Plus the whole lack of an ending thing never appealed to me. "100,000+ hours of gameplay!!!" is not a selling factor to me. I like the satisfaction of saving the world and seeing the credits roll. Its why the Diablo games have always held my interest. Bloody, intense, very satisfying fighting, serious dungeon crawling action, has an ending.

Girls in MMO's aren't actually designed for girl players. They're made for creepers to creep out on. And give bimbos something new to cosplay as... which in turn is to give creepers something to creep out on.

It's a vicious cycle that I don't participate in because it's aggravating, obnoxious, presumptuous, and idiotic. But mostly, I don't play MMO's because they're frigging boring, once you get past all the half naked elf bimbos.
