Sad it's so small as in the treasure there're luncheon vouchers and stuff. Ah "The Boggit": a classic on the old Spectrum with plenty of sick jokes and dodgy observations about the sexual predilections of Elves...

Here's a rare sight from a while back: me in a suit. Yes, that's my flat in the background. Yes, I look pissed off as I'd just come back from a job interview and had been mislead about what sort of job it was for: I was going for an admin post and the job was in a warehouse. (And my girlfriend took it on a crap camer phone so excuse the bad quality.)

PP: The fact that the DVD R/W drive on my father's computer is no longer able to burn disks. Ran the Microshaft diagnostics on it and it confirms that the thing can not burn disks. It can still read 'em ergo the burning mechanism is buggered. And guess who'll have to plumb in the replacement? The family tech bloke i.e. me.

Harvey (the perfect antidote to the conformist propaganda that is It's A Wonderful Life).
The Devil Rides Out as me and Dr_Evil's girlfriend watched it religiously as kids.
Nosferatu (both the original b/w version and the remake just for atmospherics).
The Call of Cthulhu by The H>P> Lovecraft Historical society (as it sticks strictly to the original story and is done as if it were a contemporary film).
Airplane! as it's not only hilarious but if you grew up with 70s disaster flicks (especially Airport '77) like I did it's even funnier. "We have to get these people to a hospital immediately." "A hospital? What is it?" "It's a big building full of sick people, but that's not important right now." Classic.

They are largely crap. Brian Cox as the doctor in "Manhunter" had it down brilliantly. Especially the scene in his sell when he jacks the phone and charms a secretary into giving him the cop's home address. A true psychopath can switch charm on and off like a light.

It was the MAP for Zork! Wow, I wonder if there's any images for Delta 4's "The Boggit"? Oh, they do. Bit small but there you go. Now if I can find an image of the map from the inside of the cove ras well...

AP: Having just learned that the song "Lotion" is by The Greenkeepers. Let's just say it's funky, urbane, and inspired by a certain character in "Silence of the Lambs". And the lyrics are brilliant. So "put the fucking lotion in the basket, bitch." Yay!
