One more work PP: I'm starting to realize that of all the people I currently work with regularly, only one guy isn't a total fuckstick. Almost everyone else is lazy or doesn't pay attention to what they're doing, which in the dry cleaning business results in late and misplaced clothes and pissed off customers.
Told the guy I was working with tonight that there were several bags of delivery clothes that needed to be tagged while I was working on something else. His response was, "Oh I know," and he just sat right on his ass like I had given him a suggestion and not an order.

There is a reason for this. That reason is the PSX version is terrible.

I don't doubt that for a minute. It seems like most games I've played that were on the PlayStation and N64 were way better on Nintendo.

PP: Apparently there's some new ratchet-ass Georgia law that says you can't serve alcohol to anyone with an ID that says under 21, even if that person is old enough to drink. I can't imagine what the bullshit reasoning is behind this.

PP: I'm trying to buy a copy of Gauntlet Legends for N64, a game which the guy at the used video game store said is worth about $10 and they sell for $15 when they have it. Average price on ebay? Freaking $25-$30. I mean I guess it's not as bad as the $50 (TOP LEL) the guy at the flea market wanted for it but damn, I only paid $14 for Star Fox 64. I don't think I'm ready to pay twice that for a 14 year old game on a 17 year old console.

PP #2: The PSX versions are going for like $8  x_x*

PP: Dumb chick at work totally screwed me and the other girl I was working with
Me: Hey Kourtney, don't worry about tagging these clothes, we have to get these band uniforms tagged tonight so do that while I'm on delivery and I'll finish it when I get back.
Her: okay lol
Two hours later when I get back from deliveries, and not a single uniform was tagged, and the other girl said this chick pretty much hadn't done dick all the time I was gone, so I had to call my boss at home to come help us get all the uniforms done because otherwise it would have been 9:00 before we left.

It's not like downright terrible or anything, it's entertaining enough to keep me watching, but I've picked up on a fair bit of stuff that's made me kinda cringe.

PP: I've been playing Xbox for ages now, I've had so many fond memories of the consoles, staying up late, playing with friends... In recent months I've just kinda lost interest in it... So I'm going to sell it online, with almost all of its games. PS3 is just a better console, it has some of my all-time favorites on it. But still, after so many fun years of playing the 360, it just feels weird to delete my profile, remove all my games from my disc book, and box them back up to be sold online. Ah well, it was fun while it lasted.

Serious question here, how much you want for it and you gonna eBay that shit?

I like The Walking Dead. Maybe my standards for a TV show aren't as high as some of you peoples' but I'm sure I've seen worse. Sure, there are some things about it that annoy me, but I'll still watch the new season when it comes out this Sunday with my family, who are also into it. C:[/spoiler]

This, yo. I know that, objectively, season 2 was NOT good. The first half of season 3 kicked ass, and the second half had a lot of buildup with a climax that was good but oversold (except that last episode, that was shit). But I still enjoy it, and it was one of the few things on TV I looked forward to that weren't sports (for me it's pretty much The Walking Dead and Game of Thrones).
I also have somewhat of an emotional investment in it because it's filmed near where I live (the high school in season 2? def my school) but whatever.

PP: Braves are about to shit themselves out of the playoffs against a team they beat in the regular season, and the Falcons are herpa derping their way into a loss against the New York Buttfumbles. Err, New York Jets. I fucking hate sports. At least Auburn is 4-1 so far after last year's disastrous 3-8 nightmare AND AS I TYPE THIS THE DODGERS HIT ANOTHER FUCKING HOME RUN. FUCK ATLANTA SPORTS. I'M MOVING TO CHICAGO. AT LEAST THEIR TEAMS ARE SHIT AND THEY KNOW IT.

EDIT
YEP
FALCONS LOSE 30-28 A LITERAL LAST SECOND FIELD GOAL
BRAVES LOSE 4-3 ON A BOTTOM OF THE 8TH 2 RUN HOMER
EXCUSE ME WHILE I KILL MYSELF

AP: Deactivated my Facebook.
The combination of the bullshit it's caused my family since my grandfather died (and even more when my grandmother died) and then all the dumb shit people posting about the government shutdown was just too much.

PP: The Association of Culture and Business students are organizing a bar craw. Dear beer god i'm going to die!

I'll see you in alco-heaven then. Going to celebrate my roommate's 21st birthday tomorrow in a city with more bars than you can shake a stick at.

PP: I'm a spring and summer kind of person, but I don't dislike fall (just that particular season that comes after it). However, what I do hate are all the people who act like it's the first fucking autumn ever. "OMG I AM LOVING THIS WEATHER I'M WEARING MY FAVE SWEATER N ABOUT 2 GO 2 [coffee place here] FOR PUMPKIN [hot beverage here]"

PP: My aunt is laying claim to my grandfather's kilt to give to her son who is a) younger than me and b) too skinny to wear it and c) a piece of shit who's not gonna take care of it. It's one of two of my grandfather's things that I want and I have a bad feeling I'm not gonna get either one.

Lmao omg! Not a whole lot makes me literally "lol" when I'm surfing the internets. I think you've made my day. XD

Haha well I'm glad you enjoyed it. I went on some like iDraw website or some shit like that, and I turned on capslock but it wouldn't turn off. I had to restart my computer.

PP: I drank all my beer Sad
PP #2: They don't make Shock Top Raspberry Wheat in 12 packs, as far as I know
PP #3: My grandmother died today, and I'm drowing my grief in mid-tier wheat beer. I think I might have a problem.

AP: Parents are finally sort of coming around to the idea of me buying a new car, although it might be just because they want me to shut up about it.

AP #2: 2003 Nissan Xterra, 95k miles, $8k asking price. Gonna go look at it tomorrow.
45  General Discussion / General Discussion / Re: PP: Not having a Pet Peeves thread. on: September 05, 2013, 11:03:56 pm
PP: I wanna buy a new truck, and I found a really great deal on a 2008 F-150, but my parents are being really resistant to the idea. Every time I ask them a question that pertains to getting a new vehicle it turns into them lecturing me. They seem convinced I can't afford the payment, the gas and the insurance when I've done the math and I'm positive I can. They think I should stick with the truck I have until it blows up, which lately it's begun feeling more and more like a time bomb. I want their help, because last time I bought a car I really fucked up because my dad wasn't with me. But I don't wanna hear a bunch of negative shit from them the whole time, or them telling me I should get something other than what I want.
