PP: Saw my boss posted a job listing on Snagajob for a line cook which makes me think I might be about out of a job. I'm the newest, I don't think my boss likes me (because she told me to come in on a Thursday but then put my on the schedule for Monday, and claims she told me Monday, although this was two months ago), and I've been there two months and still don't know what I'm doing because the other cooks won't let me do anything.
If I get that job at Polo they can go fuck themselves for all I care, but having to say on an application that I was fired--even if it was for bullshit reasons--is not something I'm okay with.

AP: After six months, I'm finally gonna have my sunglasses back by next week. Even though these under warranty bastards ended up costing me money to fix, at least I can finally look super cool not have to worry about getting eye cancer anymore.

PP: I still have to file my state tax returns. blarrrr.....anyone know a place where I can do it for free?
I know there are a few places that let you file state for free if you make below a certain amount and are below a certain age. But I also know a lot of them require you to file state AND federal. I learned that one the hard way since I'd already filed federal but I wasn't gonna pay those TurboTax bastard $30 to file for a $69 refund. Now I gotta do that shit by hand. tl;dr I'm not being any help at all. PP: Hiring manager at Polo said she'd call me by Wednesday to let me know if I was gonna get a second interview or not, and I have yet to hear back.

AP: Interviewing for a position at the Polo store tomorrow. I hope to God I get it, my primary motivation being that I can't afford to keep working one day a week for three hours at a time anymore. But that 30% employee discount on everything in the store is pretteh kewl 2

True that, fortunately I just buy the old ones that go on sale.
Space Empires IV, Unreal, Unreal Tournament GOTY, Max Payne, all the good stuff that came out over a decade ago.
Glad I know I'm not the only one that does that. In the past two years I've bought StarCraft+Brood War, Civ III, GTA San Andreas, Star Wars KotR and Battlefield 2 and Fallout 3. I really don't think I've ever bought a new game in my entire life.

PP: Sittin' in class, just takin' some notes on the lecture. Teacher calls on someone "Uhh, yeah, I was just gonna say..." JUST SAY IT. DAMN. There are only like four people in my ethics class who ever raise their hands and this is how they ALWAYS start their comments

Not sure where you are looking, I've read enough on the winter war alone to write a paper.
If it was a history paper I'd be golden, but it's a political science paper on whether or not Finland's government meets Robert Dahl's criteria of a democracy. I'm using academic databases and it seems like everything is either too specific or irrelevant. Plus finding English academic sources on the first eduskunta election is just about impossible. I did manage to get it together although barely. Quarter of a page too short but at least my sources were academic journals this time, unlike my last paper where I sited the CNN website. My teacher was none too thrilled with that.

Adventure Time, Gumball, and Regular Show I told myself I'd never watch these, that they were the cartoons for a new generation and that they would just piss me off. But it's like I just can't stop myself. Adventure Time is the perfect combination of swift jokes, real content, and random shit, Gumball reminds me of my twelve-year-old self and Regular Show is just hilarious.
