"It has been enough time. We must reach the planet's surface and create base camp."

The snake-vessel slipped through space to rest on the planet. After every creature had exited, the snake dispersed into thin air, becoming non-existent. It's job was to convey the fourteen aliens to the planet and it had done that. Jackal, in his demonic suit of armor, explored the beach they landed on. The sandy beach led to the edge of a plain, the other side the nearly endless ocean.

"We make camp in between the trees over there and the beach. Construct everything in the shade. Kill any of the indigenous behemoths if they attack us. We'll consume its remains and use its bones."

At the time that the thirteen masked people split up to gather materials from the ocean, the trees and from the animals, an acolyte ventured to Jackal and presented himself as a slave of Criccthulu. He had a message to convey to Jackal.

"Well, speak it."

"To all that wish to have the benevolent gaze of Criccthulhu over them should sacrifice that which is most precious to them, and construct a shrine or temple to his might. After this great gifts will be bestowed upon ye."

After that, the person left Jackal's side to travel to who ever else hasn't been informed. Jackal decided that this would be the turning point of him and his party. He came up with a way of choosing the sacrifice. Through telepathy, he called forth three of his followers.

Jackal crossed his arms and stood straight in front of his cohorts and said," We have been informed on how to follow The Great Devourer's footsteps. We must sacrifice what is dear to us, and I have chosen you, Terracticus and Aerok, including myself, to sacrifice something dear to us. Mareunda, you will build the shrine under the ocean, as you are our great swimmer. I will give up my obsidian-head axe and the letter I received from my late wife. I expect no less from you two."

Terracticus, the horned-mask wearer, said," Of course. I will sacrifice my journal, which holds every single memory of me and my race, and the first weapon, a dagger, I had ever received, from my father."

Aerok, the one who wears a beaked-mask, hesitated. After a moment, he said," If I die, I'd rather die by my friends than with gold and sapphire jewelry surrounding me. I provide all of my necklaces, rings, expensive adornments and a single gem of sapphire. It is the largest gem I have."

Mareunda, who wears a mask with large eyes and gills, gathered the objects in a water-proof sack, and bringing the axe on his back, dove into the ocean and swam down. Within an hour, he gathered rocks, plants and other objects to make a shrine. Inside, he placed the objects and closed the shrine by placing coral in its entrance. He swam back up to the surface to tell Jackal of his doings.

"If the shrine is not enough, then hopefully Criccthulu will accept the sacrifice. Good work, Mareunda. I need you to collect food from the sea; both meat and plant."

Mareunda nodded and returned to the ocean. As Jackal watched him swim off, two masked figures, one with a black mask and one single white dot, the other the opposite, came up to the great figure.

"My Lord, we have sensed activity far beneath the earth. There is some kind of facility down there."

Yin, the one with mostly a black mask, added in," We should crush them, now. They seem to be in large numbers, but nothing that we cannot conquer together."

Jackal immediately answered. "No, we must wait. Even though they may be doing who knows what, we must wait and see what they do. If you can, continue to follow their movements. They could also present us to other beings on this planet."

The two figures bowed and returned to work on the shelters. Jackal could smell the burning of meat, far off, and wondered if that had anything to do with others. Somehow, he knew it had to do with other people. He believed it would be better to remain as hidden as long as possible, working in the shadows and never leaving tracks. From what he has seen, his group is small, yet powerful, but it may be best to whittle done the opposing factors in secret. Mareunda returned while Jackal was processing his thought. With him, he brought a dead prehistoric-megadon. The two of them carried the shark over to the others and they all feasted.

Thanks for the reply on my little question about serge, i would like to read the character bio though.

Oh,Jackal, you should totally keep the 2 guns ,but use one at a time and use the other as an emergency pistol, only to be used when time to reload the other is out off question.

I thought that at first, but then that lead to thinking it would be a waste of time reloading both once the zombies are dead/gone, or raiders, and it's easier to keep track of just one gun.

The Mosin isn't a bad gun, even if it is bolt action, with training you can reload it quickly after each shot. And I'm sure my PC would be using her pistol, even if it has lesser ammo capacity, or hand-to-hand in close combat.

And Serge is a kick-ass French (Tongue), if I do say so myself. XD

What devious thing happened to the ninety-four that didn't make it?

Jackal is quite god-like, but only because of his racial abilities and enchantments. Seven of his followers are near his level, and the rest are strong enough to withstand a bullet to the head, five to the chest and two to each limb wounds that could kill a mere man, and far beyond that. The two weakest, the human-masks, can join together to become stronger. But they are not as strong as the top three Jackal followers.

All in all, some have defensive abilities, some are super-reflexive, a couple don't even go near the fighting, but prefer meditating and telekinesis and being wimps, and Jackal is their "paladin leader", being the strongest and the "all-around" guy. Each has their own preference when fighting, and some have unique powers coupled with being super-reflexive, super-muscular, super-mental abilities or another ability.

From the depths of outerspace came what seemed to be a slithering body of black. It slipped through space and time, reaching the planet that the anomaly was reported, along with military factions and creatures of all types gathering around said planet. The space-black snake was nearing the planet, when from inside the occupants could see it all. The leader was a creature that could be depicted as and resembles the Egyptian god, Anubis. The only difference being was that the creature was wearing heavily cast lead and gold armor, with demonic and dark aspects like spikes and the lead was painted a dark red. The tall creature, named Jackal Afreeka, sat in a wispy black throne in the center of the vessel. Among him were thirteen cloaked and masked figures, all masks depicting a creature from the universe. The ones in the far end of the space snake had masks like human beings, that had yet come to be on the planet below.

A figure with a horned mask approached Jackal.

"My Lord, we have spotted a fleet of Darth Nerd's ships. Should we engage?"

"No, no need to fight. Not yet, anyway. We are here to establish ourselves as gods and the first intelligent races on this planet. And in some time soon, to fight. But right now, we must wait for The Great Devourer to appear. Already, we know him as Criccthulu, but I have yet to spot him again. Keep your watch for the The Great Devourer. Until then, keep the Graak Snake in close proximity to the fleet and the planet below. I need time to meditate and relax. Everyone else should do the same."

The horned figure nodded and returned to his seat. They all were nervous, except for Jackal, who was grinning to himself. He knew that not all of them survive this war, and that who ever did would be forced to fight each other for rule over the planet. The events would unfold, just as was prophesized back on his home planet. This world would be the last chance for the races of the men and women on the snake vessel, for every single race had failed to live in unity and they have destroyed much of their galaxy.

The Graak lessened the distance between the planet and the Imperial space fleet.

Oh and Jackal while the prospect of akimbo pistols sounds cool, you also have to take into consideration the fact that it takes awhile to load both weapons and they just aren't that accurate. I'd say lose one of the handguns and get a rifle, might I suggest a Mosin-Nagant or perhaps an M1 Garand semi-automatic rifle.

Okay. That sounds reasonable and more realistic than duel-wielding pistols. I don't know what I was thinking when I wrote that up, other than that it would be cool. I've completely gotten rid of one pistol and the baseball bat, and added in the Mosin.

@Boomstick: Are you interested in this, Boomstick? We could use a man fitted with a chain-saw arm Grin

I would agree, that this is a peaceful place. A place to return after fighting and to rest and relax before the fight.

Hehe, so says my friends, I have no face Tongue XD

damn the eyes kinda changes color alitle bit depending of the angle of the light , seen directly from the front " with light straight into them" they look blue
and seen slightly from above they look more like green
dammit this is hard to explain.

I get what you're saying, because that's basically how most people with red eyes actually have them. Certain amounts of light enter their eyes and you'll see red irises. And about the Bio...I almost TL;DR, but I'll check it out anyway.

Not to be rude, but how do blue-green eyes truly look?
