Then radio and TV and the internet happened and
Very little difference actually occurred. Sadly knowledge of something bad happening and actually changing so that the bad thing doesn't happen again are very different things. In fact, I'm sure that we all often see where people get so hyped up about something bad that happens, that for whatever reason, in trying to solve it, more bad things happen. If that makes any sense at all, my head is a bit mushy from sitting for hours doing a really boring assignment. Also, on topic, I'm sure we have all seen this but oh well... I find it amusing

I would suggest that it is very important to increase your heart rate for at least 20 minutes every day, on top of whatever strengthening exercises you do. The way I lost my near 20kgs was all to do with cardio and eating healthy. I swear I lost 5kgs alone from taking migorang noodles out of my diet. I also have found that I have put about 4kgs on since including strength work into my workout, but my measurements have changed very little, which shows that going by weight is not always the best in terms of getting healthier.
In the end your diet is probably what is going to change the outcome of the work you are doing the most. Drink heaps of water/green tea (not the sugary ice stuff either!), as this helps with keeping you feeling full, and increases metabolism. Your workouts, including your strength ones should always leave you sweaty and smelly, otherwise you are not pushing yourself enough to make any great deal of change. Start also going by time rather than repetitions. So for example you are saying that your doing 30 pushups and so on, instead, see how many pushups you can do in 5 minutes, and improve on that. Also, mixing it up every workout, such as doing 5 minutes pushups, 5 minutes of a cardio activity (skipping, running, etc), another 5 minutes of crunches, 5 minutes of cardio again, and finish off with another 5 minutes of situps will give you better results.
I guess a main thing when it comes to strengthening, if your muscles are not on fire/dying by the end of the workout, if your are still able to do more repetitions, then you aren't actually creating muscle, just working what you already have. PP- This stupid assessment thing is taking forever, took 3 days to do one section, and there are 7 sections >.> I'm screwed!

So it was my 22nd birthday a week and a bit ago, and of course I had a good ol' shindig, which resulted in many hilarious photo's, figured I would share two here. First a great couple shot of my boyfriend and I... And second, the cliche bathroom shot with a friend... It was a good night with much talking, laughing, drinking, hilarious photos, and dancing! Not much more you can ask for!

AP: No more Math related classes ever! (Unless I'm teaching them). Related PP: Did not finish that last exam... first time I have not finished an exam, and the part I didn't finish was worth a huge amount >.> Here's hoping I don't fail.

AP: My practical for uni (teaching year 2's), is going really well. I have been offered relief work as well as a possible contract already. I'm also starting to really feel like a teacher, like I could actually do this as a career (only took the better part of 4 years). Also, all the teacher's who have seen me teaching have said that I'm doing really well. Today I had a lovely boy who is also very much on the spectrum (normally just stands in the back of the classroom and watches everything, does not do his work or interact, with math being the only thing he sometimes does without his LSA there) actually responded well to me, and did all of his work, and even came up to me and interacted with me, it made me feel really good that I was actually able to get through to him and teach him something.

One: went to uni (college) straight out of school - and dropped out of Year II due to serious burn out. DO NOT do further education directly out of school as it messes you up. Seriously. Old man talkin' here.
I've gone straight through from college (high school) to uni (college) and now in my 4th year I am starting to wind down, but I'm pretty sure it's because I know I'm finished in a matter of months. I've also been guaranteed a job when I finish. Also you can work and study at the same time to make sure you have some work experience as well as a degree, I've been doing so for the last 7 years. Guess what I'm trying to say that it is different for everyone, and you need to do what you feel is best for you, not what other's think is best for you. Although in saying that I'm a bit of a hypocrite because I did want to have a gap year, but my parents convinced me to go back to continue on, I listened, and in the end they were obviously right. Anyways back on track.. PP- Being sick all the time!! So over it.

Pretty sure something or someone doesn't want me to finish my assessments, so far I have had Gastro, food poisoning, been attacked by dogs, and gotten that sort of sickness where your head just goes fuzzy and you cant think at all. All in the course of about a month, and a month where all of my assessments are due.
