Speaking of, this was my Facebook status on Columbus Day;

"Even though the mighty Norsemen were here well before ol' Christopher, it was Seņor Columbus who was mighty enough to get me the day off."

They should call it "Ericson Day."

Is there really a such thing as a genetic "social problem?"

I thought in some american states 21 was the age of sexual consent?

It's 16 where I'm from. :3

I'm thirty-six and married if I contribute the the Teen Pregnancy stat... I will also be contributing to the divorce stat and the prisoner stat.

So you're admitting that WERE you to have sex with a teen, it'd be one young enough to put you in prison?

Damn Carter... damn.

AP: Our band was one of the winners opening for Saving Abel next Thursday!

Related PP: Almost all the bands last night bailed out at the last minute, leaving just three; Razorblade Rose, Pseudo Nein and Live On for Tomorrow. With the inital seven bands, we were only allotted roughly 20-30 minutes of stage time each, NO COVERS. Then last night, when all the bands bailed, they decided to allow covers. At a Battle of the Bands.

Covers at a Battle of the Bands = NO.

Even if we would have decided to do covers, Dave left his other two guitars at home. The band after us (and before us, not that I think of it) did play covers, and they ended up winning (1st place). We kind of thought that was a drag, but we're still going to be there opening. I'd rather have came in 2nd and still be able to play than 2nd and sent home, yeah?

EDIT: None of us like Saving Abel... we're just happy to open for a signed band with ticket sales instead of door cover.

I also didn't think some of those were so bad to be #1 in.

Divorce rules! Having sex with teens does too! Yeah! Teen divorce!

PP: (I understand this is usually not at the fault of the individual, but...) Guys who don't have the necessary skill or knowledge to get what they desire from a woman, which usually ties into...

PP2: Hopeless romantics. (Both men and women)

PP3: People who don't know the difference between they're, their and there. Also, you're and your... and to and too. Come on people, you look like dumb shits.

AP: I am the proud owner of a Taurus 709 Slim. I've had it since Saturday, but forgot to post about it.

Started playing Medal of Honor yesterday. Not sure what to think of it just yet, but the mulitplayer may be... (gasp) a Modern Warfare II killer. It looks promising and fun, played it for about 30 minutes or so, but not enough to make a conclusive statement. So far the campaign is so-so, but again... haven't played enough to make a fair statement.

Beat Bioshock over the weekend. I didn't harvest a single Little Sister.  angel

Overall, the game was extremely easy. Never ran out of ammunition, had Adam for all the important stuff, plenty of health and eve. Fontaine is a pushover too.

Really, really enjoyed the storyline. Great game, in my opinion. Bring on the second.

There is always a way out of the friend zone.

AP: Battle of the Bands this Thursday. Whoever wins opens for Saving Abel the following Thursday. I could not give a shit less about Saving Abel, but there is a potential for more fans and several hundred dollars at these couple of shows. I say fuck yes.

What are the odds that I was actually getting on here to post about Dimmu Borgir. I just saw the new "Gateways" video last night (would link, but now I'm at work) and it was pretty ballin'. Pimp eskimos from the future!

Many parts of that story sound familiar to me, Milly.

I hope all ends well.
