The UN definition of a country. Which curiously includes The Courtyard of The Knights of Malta.
Excellent, then I can name 9. Italy, Germany, Norway, Turkey, Hungary, Uraguay, Paraguay, Jersey Guernsey. Thought it was 10, but it seems Alderney is not actually a country.

Hungary is one of only seven countries in the world with a name ending in the letter Y. If you doubt me try to name more than 6 more from memory.
Define countries. Because if we are talking sovereign states I can do 10.

General Discussion / Movies/TV Discussion / Re: If it were up to you... BIG BUDGET REMAKE OF YOUR DREAMS!!!

There aren't that many good films I'd like to see remade. But I would like to see a remake of Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter with a budget. Get Woody Harrelson to play Jesus, Kate Beckinsale as Mary Magnum, Hugh Jackman to play Father Eustace. Oh and I want John Woo to direct the fight scenes and Motorhead to cover the title track. Then it could be truly awesome.
Or Tromeo & Juliet. Keep the script the same but hire some proper RSC thesps to play the parts. I can only dream of seeing the likes of Patric Steward or Ian McKellen delivering lines like "A word with me? How about a word for me? Or better yet, how about a word for you? Let's see, a word for Tyrone Capulet. Boofball. Dickbag. Peon. Freak. Cocksucker. Shithead, ratcatcher, geek. Loser, anus, fruitcake, lunk, fiddlefucker, dweeb, feeb. Cunt. Assfuck; ah, that one's close to the mark. How 'bout guinea, schmuck, or pussyfart?"

Mark Kermode has an interview with the director on his blog. The movie apparently has funding and is being shot this autumn. And it gets better. Udo Kier has agreed to star in it and the soundtrack is being recorded by Laibach. This film promises much. With all this promise, it had better be good.

For Whom the Bell Tolls - Metallica Disposable Heroes - Metallica One - Metallica The Day That Never Comes - Metallica Peace Sells - Megadeth Crusader - Saxon World Destruction - Timezone Civil War - Guns 'N' Roses War Machine- Kiss Farewell to Arms - Machine Head Gimme Shelter - Rolling Stones B.Y.O.B. - System of a Down One Shot at Glory - Judas Priest Us and Them - Pink Floyd War Ensemble - Slayer Ghosts of War - Slayer If You Tolerate This Your Children Will Be Next - Manic Street Preachers Down From the Sky - Trivium Indestructible - Disturbed Invaders - Iron Maiden 2 Minutes to Midnight - Iron Maiden Aces High - Iron Maiden
The entire Iron Maiden album A Matter of Life & Death. A whole bunch of other Metallica songs I can't think of right now Most of the Manowar back catalogue Turisas album Battle Metal - in fact pretty much anything by any Viking Metal band that isn't about drinking. Pretty much anything by Bolt Thrower.
The last one may not be good for your eardrums though as anyone old enough to remember them will attest eh Opusfluke!!!

Cut one open sometime, it's fascinating how they manage to get so much elastic band in there.
I'm not sure they use the elastic band stuff anymore. Last couple I've peeled were made of some sort of ceramic material. They definitely did make them using elastic though. I remember our dog ate one when I was at school and the vet had to pull about half a mile of elastic out of its stomach.
