It was Colonel Mustard, Milo's former commanding officer, with the revolver in the dinning room.

Charlie's voice- Somewhere between Kelsey Grammer and David Pierce
Sammie's voice- Can't say, know what I think she should sound like but I can't put a name to the voice.
Milo- *death rattle of you choice here*
Sense most of Jenny's characters are based on friends, maybe she should have them do a mock You Tube video or something. Grin

Face it Chuck: If Sammy had any respect for the dead, she wouldn't be treating you like crap Grin

Im thinkin Milo just gets transferred and is replaced by Charlie.

Wouldn't explain the empty room, his stuff boxed up and comic Jenny having a break down pre-flashback.
Then again, it is a zombie a comic Roll Eyes

The now unmanned International Space Station falls from it's decaying orbit and lands on Milo

Jenny turns, secretly gets made a half-life, but Charlie outs her to Milo who runs away and dies.
...Or Jenny becomes a half-life after eating Milo Grin
Oh wait, half-lifes don't retain memory from their pass life. Back to the drawing board on this one.

I estimate it to be 10 years.
... So I'd say Milo was at least 16 when the zombies came.
Milo was returning from deployment overseas when the the #### hit the fan, Milo would have had to be at least 18 (17 with parents consent) to join up then there is training (averages at 8 weeks for infantry) then actual deployment which can last for who knows how long.

Another thing to consider is Milo was trying to be funny when he was talking about buying a farm, the dude doesn't have the best sense of humor.

Another note; Soldiers cut tend to be near shaved heads and Jenny's art of Milo wandering the Wastland with his sisters pre-Halo has him with a shaggy head of hair on him. That and the fact that Milo had apparently warn out his shoes/boot (feet wrapped in bandages) also hint at a good amount of time.

Speaking of, I forgot... How many years has the outbreak gone on?
Good question, always wonder how James went almost his entire life without seeing a zombie while the others had to fight their way through the Wastland before being rescued. I'm guessing we are dealing with a similar timeline as World War Z.

Get use to the sight Chuck, it's what Sammy and crew has been dealing with for a long time now.

221  TZH Discussion / TZH Discussion / Re: Today's Comic on: August 14, 2011, 10:12:22 pm
$10 that Sam looking for beer
222  TZH Discussion / TZH Discussion / Re: Today's Comic on: August 14, 2011, 07:12:45 pm
But... He grabbed the zed with his left hand and then punched it with his right. Neither had the gun in it and then it appeared again...
Noticed it myself but didn't want to point it out.
Charlie punching the zombie with the gun would have been funny as hell but I like the idea that he dropped the gun off panel, punched the zombie, then picked it up again. That would also fit with Sam's expression; 'your a total clouts but you did punch a zombie in the face, that will do.'

224  TZH Discussion / TZH Discussion / Re: Today's Comic on: August 03, 2011, 05:20:37 pm
...This is getting to be one long-ass flashback.
or maybe the first arc was a Flashforward
225  TZH Discussion / TZH Discussion / Re: Today's Comic on: August 02, 2011, 05:34:12 pm
At this rate, the zombie might be walking towards Milo Grin

I'm with Chuck on this one, you don't want a guy who can't hit a broad side of a barn pointing a gun at you general direction.
