I always wonder how Jenny and Milo got some alone time in that barracks, guess the quick answer is they don't.

The nod seemed more like a long pause by Jasper but that is the usual effect in this tip of sequenced without a little manga like 'nod' sound effect (which would be out of place with the tone of the current chapter)

It does make me rethink who's side Jasper is on and what angle he is playing at.

The plot twist?  Somewhere in the past, Jasper was kinda cool with the infected.  then he got his crew at set sail for island douche

Jasper just got this crew so it seems he always been a douche. He might turn it up a bit know he is the captain of the douche squad (hey, new name for those guys) but it seem being a dick is how he copes with everything much like Sammy being ...well... Sammy.
