So sorry to hear about your loss, Jenny. I unfortunately do know that feeling. Praying for you and your family.

It looks like her note says something about asking Anne to be sure the place stays locked up. And possibly about having difficulty keeping the door closed. Which would kinda make more sense to leave the note on the front door in that case than in the kitchen. But then Meredith wasn't in a rational state there.

I really kinda want Anne to survive this. She seems like a nice person. The question is, will the fact of one infected committing suicide and turning zombie on the island be enough to trigger the storyline Jenny has in mind or do multiple people have to turn zombie to do it? Anne could get paralyzed and someone else come along at the right moment to save her before she can be bitten, of course. Or Anne could spot the glowing eyes and make her escape, since I would assume there's a range limit to the paralysis effect. I suppose you could actually do both, since Anne could make her escape but would have to run to find the authorities to deal with it, and might not think to close the door on her way out, allowing the zombie to roam free.

On page 555, am I right in thinking the two girls on the right, neither of whom have armbands, are uninfected with the one on the outside daring the other one to touch the infected not-at-all-Mario guy?

Jasper cleans up pretty well. Except for the whole evil soul patch beard thing.

I haven't seen Maureen in person for a long time, and I can't say I have stared at her bum when I have seen her so I have no idea if I am accurate or not!

The other important question is would you trust real life Maureen with a flamethrower in your vicinity?

Congratulations to Sammy and husband!

Also, regarding the Wastelander Project comic, one wonders if this may prove problematic someday. We've established via Charlie that the zombies have speech. So do we know for an absolute certainty that no TZH zombies can read?

A slightly deranged proud mom, but a proud mom nonetheless.  Grin

To be fair, you shouldn't hand someone the last one without warning them that it's the last one.

On the plus side, the string of burning buildings should make finding them easier. Just follow the smoke and explosions.

Hopefully I don't get shot for noticing a small detail.  police Charlie's missing the grunge on his coat hem and pant cuffs in panel 3 that he has in panel 1. It caught my attention as a neat little detail in panel 1, so I noticed the absence after.  Smiley

I....can honestly say I've never seen a poverty-stricken farm villager in high heels before. Yes, I am a smug bastard...

Helpfully, icons are non-fattening, too. Win win!  Afro
