Break-ups are hard. Sorry to hear that, Milly.

pp: Just when it was just starting to get warm, it snowed again, but it was like Mother Nature ate one too many sugar-free candies and took a massive slippery dump.

pp2: In quickly walking to help my dad and brothers move a broken down car of ours on our property, I slipped and fell on my tailbone and back. Even though I was sitting there with tears in my eyes from the pain, none of them bothered to be nice and help me up.

pp3: I am a vendor for a popular greeting card company, and I can usually make my own hours. Because of the previous day's bad weather, my supervisor called yesterday to tell me to stay home. However, my dad told me to go into work anyway because the weather at the time was much better. I worked until midnight, and headed for home. Because of the darkness and a few other factors, my car ended up in the median between two highways. Tow truck got it out, but now I have a bit of whiplash. My car may be damaged a bit underneath too.

Just finished watching Trigun yesterday, and several weeks ago, I finished Trinity Blood. I just can't help noticing the similarities between the two. Coincidence?

Stan! You and your megaphone should get down from that soapbox! People are trying to sleep, do drug deals, and make whoopie. You're just disturbing everyone, man...

I saw "White Chicks" recently. I thought it was so hilarious, I saw it twice. There's just something about straight dudes being forced to wear chick clothing that can really tickle my funny bone.

ap: finally, after several years talking about it, I am  taking on yoga tomorrow. I just hope I won't be the only out-of-shape, can't-stretch-for-shit person there. XP

nuuuuuuuuuuuu Sad I would not want to do this to anyone.

This has not been a fun week for either of us. But definitely more so for Jenny. She was almost kinda sorta feeling better late Wednesday, and then Thursday became worse. She was a bit better yesterday, though- didn't have to spend *all* day in the bathroom and was actually able to sit up at her computer and eat solid food and such.

No comic on Monday, I'm afraid- at this point the question is more one of whether or not Jenny will be well enough to do her own filler or if I'll be asking another artist.
I was only picking on you. Wink

But that really sucks to hear. I hope she gathers enough strength to go "Rambo" on that virus's ass really soon...

Maybe you should take a break for a semester or two or three.

pp: I really need to go back to school- I have no friends (or relatives for that matter) who seem to want to hang out with me. Sure, I could take that first step in asking them to hang out, but I'd most likely be rejected or I would have to continually be making that first step, which is pretty uncomfortable for me.

Sometimes people just need someone to be there for them and listen to their troubles. Until you're asked for advice, continue what you're doing. I see nothing wrong with getting off-topic- it probably lessens the degree of anxiety she's having.

Of course, I'm no advice column journalist...

ah, good. that one's also on Netflix. lol

Anime is such a good distraction from everyday life...

You did this to Jenny too, didn't you, Greg? ;P

OMGWTF. I'm wishing I hadn't clicked that link. Gee... I wonder why I've never seen that game being advertised...

pp: I've stayed up too late yet again watching anime and eating fatty non-filling junk food. It's not the gaining of weight that I'm afraid of... my dad is off on Fridays from work, and he detests it if I sleep past 9:30.

Thanks, TLO and HK. This helps. With so many anime shows out there, it's hard to find the good ones without recommendations. Even if it's not on Netflix (I'm just making sure I get my money's worth), I still might be able to find it elsewhere on the web.

Is Tora Dora a good one? I found that one on

You didn't seem to be gone THAT long, were you, Stan?

I've been sorta bingeing on anime on Netflix for almost a month. Trinity Blood, Fruits Basket (meh), Elfin Lied, and now Full Metal Alchemist. Anyone know of any good ones I'm completely missing out on?

... and that's how babies are made!
nuuuu... after that. The official announcement to Milo and team, Jasper and team, and a few others.  But that's a pretty messed up way of making babies

My condolences, Greg.
