PP1: Electricity company fucked up my bill, almost got disconnected.

PP2: Monitor dying. Keyboard unreadable.
2  General Discussion / Random Stuff / Re: The Insanity Episode VIII: The Waffles Strike Back on: December 12, 2013, 07:41:18 pm
Bump. Because I can. How's everyone doing? Who's still around? Should I be asking these question in a more appropriate thread?

Dropping in every now and then. But yeah...
3  General Discussion / General Discussion / Re: PP: Not having a Pet Peeves thread. on: November 27, 2013, 07:09:28 pm
PP: Got an electricity bill for 925 for three months. It's wrong. Despite their meter reading being a month old, the meter is way lower than what they say it was. So while i have to call the electricity company tomorrow, at least I won't be paying 185 that I do not have.

PP2: Really fucking sick of being this poor.

PP3: Coursework building up. Just can't get motivated.

PP4: Kinda depressed about it.
4  Forum Community / Questions, Comments and Suggestions / Re: shipping for book two on: November 27, 2013, 07:05:43 pm
As far as I've experienced, shipping to the UK seems to be problematic. Still waiting for mine...
5  General Discussion / Zombie Stuff / Re: Your zombie survival plan on: August 02, 2013, 11:02:37 am
and if all else fails there is always a chainsaw.

I'd... seriously suggest not using a chainsaw.

Anyhoop, my plan's updated a bit- gather weapons, supplies and friends and head to either
A. Caerphilly to hole up in the castle:

Because seriously, no fecking way zombies are getting in there. That island can even be used as an airlock/crops and livestock area. And thanks to tourism, the interior of the castle is in very good nick. Just need to uncap the well and you're in business.

or B. Barry to set up in St. Catherine's fort.

Again, incredibly defensible. There's always desalination for water if needed, plus you have coastal access for looting.

AP: going to Cornwall tomorrow! For two whole weeks at least!
7  Forum Community / Introductions / Re: Hi from Houston on: August 02, 2013, 10:50:26 am
Welcome, Marshall.

My question is, why bother with hoity toity crap like chainsaw guns and shovels when you can just bite them in the FACE?

PP: Picked up my headphones and the wire knocked my BB gun off my desk, breaking it. Why is everything so fucking flimsy these days?
9  Forum Community / Introductions / Re: Hi there o/ on: July 15, 2013, 05:34:02 pm
Welcome, Thiago. Cool name, by the way.

AP: Milady graduated!
AP2: I passed my first year of Uni!
12  General Discussion / General Discussion / Re: PP: Not having a Pet Peeves thread. on: July 15, 2013, 04:35:26 pm
PP- Milady's moved back to Cornwall.  Sad

EDIT- PP2- Fucking ridiculous UK knife laws. Even if it has a blade less than 3" long, a knife is illegal if it has a locking mechanism, such as that found on Opinel knives. It's a freakin' safety measure so the damn thing doesn't slice the user's fingers, damn it! And why is a folding knife legal at that size, but a fixed or locking blade isn't? ARGH!

PP3- the forum's kinda dead these days...
13  TZH Discussion / TZH Discussion / Re: Today's Comic on: July 15, 2013, 04:34:20 pm
Fair enough, then. It massively sucks that all that stuff went wrong, but at least you guys have learned from it, so hopefully things should go a lot smoother this time round.
14  TZH Discussion / TZH Discussion / Re: Today's Comic on: July 08, 2013, 07:14:28 pm
Quote
We're also going to have a kickstarter starting in August for TZH book 2 omgggggg

Awesome. Does this mean you guys have sorted out the issues you had with book one?
15  General Discussion / General Discussion / Re: The Anti-Peeve rides again! on: July 05, 2013, 09:44:16 pm
Dude, that's some serious discount.

AP: had a coastal adventure and a picnic today. 'Twas lovely.
