PP: I found a vegan* recipe for biscuits, which I was really excited about. Turns out you crazy americans don't call biscuits biscuits and it was actually a recipe for scones.
AP: they still turned out OK, despite me not liking scones.

*I'm not vegan, I'm just out of eggs, butter and milk.

Not sure I'd eat them after 4 years.

One had weevils in it. The other was fine.

And neither would I normally but I'm out of money and running out of food.

AP: Made about 13 selling books online. Not bad considering the only other place I can sell 'em buys books at 30p/kilo.

Tried Reciever yesterday, it was free on the Humble Bundle site.

'Twas crap.

And then the little girl rips open Murblesaur and ALSO pulls out a pistol.

NO. Murrblesaur is NOT allowed to die.  Angry

Had that problem with Sasquatch for the longest time. He suffered a major injury during a mission and for some reason just would not get better despite having a doctor, medical tent, and plenty of meds. I had to reload a lot because he kept dying during sieges and my "Save everyone or you've failed" mindset wouldn't allow me to just move on. Explosives are handy for injured comrades and civilians. If they get swarmed, toss a pipe bomb and clean out any stragglers. Thank goodness for no friendly fire.

Ugh, friggin' Sasquatch. I have yet to figure out how the hell he expects me to kill a Juggernaut with blunt weapons, no guns or explosives. Damn thing just picks him up and rips him in half, completely shrugging off my character whacking it while it does so.

Anyhoop, started replaying Bioishock Infinite yesterday. 'Tis fun.

It's probably not the first time...

Oh no! I hope Murrblesaur's gonna be okay!

At least with that gas mask on, Halozombie will have difficulty biting...

Have you played the Lifeline expansion? I rarely, if ever, used guns before I got Lifeline, but my experiences in Danforth have resulted in me always carrying one when scavenging.

Yeah, I've got Breakdown and Lifeline. Felt like just playing the vanilla game recently though. I like Lifeline, though I can't seem to go through a siege without at least one person dying, which is a tad annoying.

As for bringing guns with, even my melee specialists always go out with a gun and 30 rounds of ammunition. Not doing so is just asking for trouble.

Hmm, I had noticed the frequent reuse of items. But meh, that's not a game breaker for me. I did notice someone firing a bolt action rifle on semiauto though, that was just silly. Doesn't detract much though, I still really enjoyed The Walking Dead.

My main complaint about Season 2 is that it just felt short. I could swear it's half the length of S1. Looking at my Steam account I see they're roughly the same S1 with 15 hours played (including 400 Days), S2 with 10. But still, it just felt like there wasn't much there when I was playing it.
Eh, could just be it left me wanting more.

Replaying State Of Decay for the billionth time at the moment. Assault rifles have got one hell of a lot more useful since the last expansion.

*Nods* Yeah, same.

PP: ^ That.

AP: I found a bunch of cupasoups at the back of a cupboard that I had totally forgotten existed. And they're the proper brand ones, not the cheapo store own brand stuff I normally get.

AP2: New housemate speaks German. I can get her to translate the instructions of the German dumplings I've had and not known what to do with for 4 years or so.

Been playing Skyrim recently, though I got The Walking Dead Season 2 recently on sale*- will probably start playing it sometime in the next day or so.

*I know I have no money right now, but 7.59 instead of 18.99 for a game I will be buying eventually anyway? I couldn't say no, especially as the housemate who owes me a lot of money just got a job.

Jasper: "Um... why do you have a concealed illegal firearm?"
Mau: "Why don't you?"

ARGARGARA! Hailsis! I remember you! *hugs*

Hailsis's siggy reminds me that I used to go by Taco Zombie.

I was fucking weird when I was 17.

Hey, Taco Zombie was a cool dude, bro. What you sayin'?

Anyway, PP: Rapidly running out of food to make meals with. Onions gone, rice gone, pasta gone, cans almost all gone, chicken and chips going tonight (I've been saving 'em for dinner while playing D&D). Soon I'll be living on flatbreads alone. And after the flour runs out... I guess I'll have to spend money I don't have. I should be able to keep eating until uni starts and I get my student loan money, but last year they fucked up and I didn't get a penny of it until halfway through the year. So if that happens I'm fuckled.

Yeah, they're still mostly fine. Just a bunch of annoying holes and stuff. A cloak I'm not 100% sure on, but anything smaller would probably be okay.

PP: There's this place that buys books, clothes etc for cash. It used to buy aluminium cans for scrap as well. I found out today that they've stopped doing this. How did I find out? By filling a 55 gallon drum with cans, loading it up on the wheelbarrow, taking them down there, then having to take the damn things back home again. I live at the top of a hill, by the way.
