May as well say 'fuck any electronic media, why don't you do it in real life' to that one, there, B.

So instead, why don't you play nice?  police

Yeah. There is one right above the new comic page on the front page of TZH. It is for Christina Augillera or whatever the heck her name is.
Though right now I only see ads for "talkmore"(which are quiet).
It seems it is starting to become more popular amongst adds. Though all it really does is startle me when I am browsing the web at night and annoys me when watching videos or listening to music.

Yeah, these sorts of things are becoming more common. Which is really unfortunate. We'll get that taken care of- our ad provider just decided to make changes in how their site works, so I see it's time to make with the kickings.

PP: Ads that start making loads of noise one the mouse cursor comes across them.

Are you getting those on our site?

If you are, let me know what position they were (top, bottom, first sidebar, second sidebar) and what company was doing the advertising, and I'll make sure they're dead. Our ads are not *supposed* to be making noise.

PP: One of our suppliers buggered up half a shipment. Time to find a new supplier.

And anyone who wants a hoodie that isn't full price, you guys may be getting a deal soon- we may do a defect sale of anything that's wearable, but not up to our standard.

The gas masks are actually just modeled off of russian masks- you can find them online if the rubber fetish crowd doesn't already own them all Wink

I suppose I could try to find a shop making replicas, though.

So then, for the minis or figurines, what scale are you thinking? The anime statuettes/figurines are generally between five and eight inches high, as I understand it... while minis are generally the sort of thing you find on a one-inch base for use in RPGs.

Pins are an interesting thought! What sort of designs would you be looking for there? Infected, Red Halo, anything else?
261  TZH Discussion / TZH Discussion / Re: Summer Merchandise on: June 26, 2010, 03:30:03 pm
Well, we could perhaps do plastic figurines- several companies make them. Is that similar to what you were wanting?
262  TZH Discussion / TZH Discussion / Re: Summer Merchandise on: June 25, 2010, 09:48:26 am
Nah, that's cool. It's just not something we could really get away with selling. Just like you will probably never see us selling TZH character-themed bayonets or whatever Wink

Since when did contact lenses become "a lawyers wet dream"?

Basically, when you stick things in your eye, you have the potential to do a number of harmful things to yourself, including causing yourself to go blind or even die. I'm sure you've never done that to yourself, but, you wouldn't be the only customer, right?

We're not a medical supply company, and don't carry that sort of liability insurance. We don't have the facilities to keep contact lenses sterile, and it's just not a capability I see us likely to develop in the near future.

AP: Finally put win7 on the laptop

related PP: reinstalling EVERYTHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING..... 'tis the work lappy, too. sigh.
265  TZH Discussion / TZH Discussion / Re: Summer Merchandise on: June 23, 2010, 10:34:24 pm
uhhhh.....

the liability issues inherent with a product one sticks in their eyes would be a lawyer's wet dream.

The patches, we can do.

It's all good, Cheez Smiley

So stickers are something folks would like, then?

And what kinds of designs do folks want on the posters and shirts that they've been voting for?

AP: Our merchandisers.

Our shipment was delayed on account of their power meter getting all explody and cooking half their electronics*, but everything has gotten here, and it looks great. They even tossed in a sample tank-top that looks cute as all hell. That's on its way to Canada for Jenny to look over. These guys really do go above and beyond for us Smiley

*Did we irritate Zeus or something? Seems like any time something goes wrong in a big way, it's because someone's power hookups exploded, or their electronics suffered a spontaneous existence failure.
268  TZH Discussion / TZH Discussion / Summer Merchandise on: June 17, 2010, 12:35:07 pm
Okay, here's a huge poll for the summer!

Summer's just about to get kicked off (I think it really starts on June 20th). What kind of items would you guys like to see showing up in the store?

You can suggest pretty much anything, if it's not on the list. The only caveat I have is... not the hat. I'm *sorry*, folks, but we can't find anyone to make them so far.

At the moment, we're currently attempting to get the Red Halo patches made- we're on something like the 7th attempt there, but we're still hopeful Wink

We've also got a sample tank top (for the ladies- not the guys' wifebeater style) that I'm going to be sending up to Jenny for her to check out. If she likes it, and you gals want tank tops, I shall endeavour to provide Smiley

The more votes an item has, the more likely we are to get it made up! You guys' feedback has got us scouring the country for armband makers and patches, so we DO listen Smiley

yeah, I'm probably going to stick to SUVs for that reason. It's really NICE to be able to crawl under my explorer without putting it up on stands. 'course, the down side is, it's going to be needing a new transmission- and everything that goes along with that- soon... and that ain't work I'm willing or capable of doing myself.

Have you thought about getting a good floor jack and some jack stands, though? The prices mechanics charge around here, it's a worthwhile investment, if you have a smaller vehicle.

PP: Cars

Amen to that one.
