AP: I've been using this website: http://750words.com/ for writing. I've only done two days, but I've written more on this site than I have in the past year. It's hella helpful

PP: After a month, you have to pay a subscription to keep writing. Balls.
62  General Discussion / General Discussion / Re: Words on paper in this technological world, reading anything? on: August 06, 2013, 09:08:47 am
I've been reading Devil May Care by Sebastian Faulks. It's the book that Bond 24 is going to be based on. I'm halfway through it and it's really fucking good

Also Cloud Atlas. I watched the movie, put me in a rut, and it's given me inspiration to write.

WHY DIDN'T ANYONE TELL ME TO WATCH CLOUD ATLAS .

:C
64  General Discussion / Movies/TV Discussion / Re: New Star Wars movie... on: July 28, 2013, 12:21:40 pm
The fact that  J. J. Abrams is going to direct these movies is going to be big problem. That guy suuuuuucks!!!

After his backlash with the new Star Trek movie, I don't want him to do anything that is sci-fi that I enjoy. If I want to play that card and since I don't want to argue it, it's the blatant whitewashing from him and from hollywood. Yes, I know the different opinions of it, I've read it, I've heard it, but it still doesn't excuse the fact of what he did.

If they do 7-9 and use the story lines from the Young Jedi Knight series [by Kevin J. Anderson] then I would be interested since I read those when I was younger and they are the most plausible on where the series could go. But, if they just pluck a story line out of someone's ass, then we'll see.

Picked up Indigo Prophecy on the 360. I shit thee not, there is a yo-yo minigame. This is a supernatural murder mystery, and I'm sitting here getting frustrated over screwing up the yo-yo commands.

FUCKING SIMON.

this video is basically my reaction to this entire game

Don't get me wrong, the beginning was AWESOME. Then it kinda goes downhill pretty fast.

I bought Don't Starve. FUCKING STEAM SALES.

ParaNorman might have just become my favorite animated film. Highly recommended!

I enjoyed ParaNorman a lot. The studio they made this is about twenty minutes from where I live! It's pretty awesome! :3

I rewatched Skyfall and my James Bond boner went everywhere.
71  General Discussion / General Discussion / Re: PP: Not having a Pet Peeves thread. on: June 27, 2013, 04:43:03 pm
PP: these fucking kids and playing in my fucking stairwell. They're are about twelve different stairwells and yet they play in MINE. So, today after getting off of work late this morning, I slept on the couch and was woken up an hour later to those shitheads pounding on the walls outside. I gave them a piece of my fucking mind, I did. I REALLY HATE that the parents just kick their fucking kids out of the house from morning until 10 at night because they don't want to deal with their shit. I shouldn't have to fucking parent them and let them know that there are OTHER PEOPLE LIVING HERE.
72  General Discussion / Movies/TV Discussion / Re: What Anime Are you Currently Watching III: Because Nothing Else Matters on: June 24, 2013, 02:09:47 pm
It's pretty weird when you try to make sense of it. Just let it go ; )
I'm watching it too. I haven't ever seen anything more terrifying than a fucking Titan

I know I should just let go, but there are just so many burning questions that I have that I want answered and they will probably never be answered. SIIIIGH.

I think I watched three or four episodes before I stopped. I should keep going but I was just like MEH MEH MEH. Anime isn't really my cup to tea, per se. I never really grew up with anime, so watching it just makes me feel weird, I dunno how to explain it.

Apparently, he made a Whalestoe Letters book. I've been trying to find it, but no success. It's damn near impossible to find.

Just downloaded Cloud Atlas. Really excited to read it.
