What makes that image hilarious is that 2 days ago Greg and I were trying to remember Samuel Jackson, when referring to another person we saw on tv-- but he got like, erased from both of our memories simultaneously o__o then hours later we both remembered him at the same time!
I reaaallly wish it wasn't like that xD Realistically when I rebooted the comic it was supposed to start when milo showed up---but I didn't want to erase the beginning cause I was worried that people would be sooo pisssed D:
Jenny, do you still wanna write a comic about zombies?
I look at your artwork, your story, zombies aren't even that big of a deal here, you've downsized your own enemy in favour if a deeper more complex series of conflicts and the concepts that go with it.
Its beautiful.
Eeeeee! (n‿n) thanks. And yeah, tired of zombies---there has been a zombie baby boom after I started my comic, and its wearing on me--which is why I am looking forward to my next project! No zombies, and minimal guns
After a friend of mine had died--I called up Sam to tell her and be sad--at this time she worked nights at a call center so she sleeps during the day and a Sleepy Sam isn't very coherent. I tell Sam what happened, and it basically went like: Sam: "Maybe you should send her a card--like 'sorry you got killed' in like, crayon...." Me: "Sam, that's HORRIBLE." Sam: "You laughed though." Me: "...I did."
Took me a second to realize that was her hand held up to her face, not her face being bloody. I was like "Wtf, did she headbutt the tree between pages?"
Oh god I laughed so much when I read that... then I pictured sad Katie turning away from the lake as Amon Hen plays in the background and a single tear rolls down her cheek.
Might just be most powerful and best page so far. Amazing work
Bawwwh ;_; thank you. I have been waititng since.... chapter four to do this page haha. And I was all worried that I had not done any of this any justice.
