So on August 18 Sony announced new Playstation 3 Slim at the Sony Gamescom press conference.
It's has 120GB hard drive and is 33% smaller, 36% lighter, and consumes 34% less power than previous models.

Oh and the price!
$299/€299/£249/¥29980

It is scheduled to be released on September 1, 2009 in North America, Europe and Australia and on September 3, 2009 in Japan and New Zealand.
