AHHHHH Deadly Premonition is so good. Isn't that right, Zach?

Seriously though, seconding Outlaw's recommendation. The gameplay can be a little awkward, but the story has so many wonderful twists and turns and the characters are memorable, even the minor ones. It'll be a long time before I forget Sigourney and her pot.

I want to get a couple on my right helix to balance out the industrial in my left ear. Buuut cartilage piercings fucking hurt and take a long time to heal, and every so often I have to take mine out when I have to interact with guests at work. Considered a septum ring since I could just flip it up into my nose at work, but that wouldn't really look good on me. Then there was the time I toyed with the idea of a bridge piercing, but I mainly wear glasses.

Life is hard.

Meeting forum people in real life is pretty grand. I got to hang out with Dahlia a couple times back in the day. I took her to get her lip pierced.

Log if you ever meet Stan in real life, make him get something pierced. It's how lasting friendships are made.

PP: As I'm leaving work, I sat my ipad on the roof of my car to get my keys out of my pocket and finish a text. I then proceeded to forget about it and began the half-hour drive back home. About five minutes from the house, I get a sudden urge to listen to some music, so I reach for it...and it's not there. Naturally I flipped the fuck out and started driving like a crazy person trying to find it. I finally pull into a parking lot and tear my car apart looking for it. No luck. I then decide to turn around and drive all the way back to work to see if it's there. It somehow managed to stay on the roof presumably until I started driving erratically, because just as I pulled out of the gas station, I saw it sitting in the middle of the road. So I stop the car, run out in the street to retrieve it, and pull back into the parking lot to inspect it. Thankfully, nobody ran over it. The only damage is the glass front panel being cracked all to hell, but that's an easy, albeit kind of pricey, fix that I can hopefully take care of tomorrow. It could be so much worse.

Oh, it's fantastic. I just have to accept that I'm not always going to be able to get my whole team out alive. Though if I lose my Russian assault major, I'm going to snap my controller in half. She has consistently been the best soldier on every mission I've sent her on.

XCom: Enemy Within.

This game is pissing me off.

Like...the crappy one from Godfather? D:

I'm pretty sure Zog still watches over us all from the shadows, because I remember he lurked more than anything. It is a shame that a lot of the folks that made the forum great aren't that active anymore. I do miss me some Ma'am.

Now I'm looking through my old photobucket at a bunch of some old forum jokes. I'd post Ma'amtrain but I fear she'd somehow know and come kill me.

-go on /co/ to find suggestions for comics to read-

-leave /co/ disappointed that all everyone seemed to talk about was Justice League and how much Korra sucked-

I like her BECAUSE she's so awful.

Drinking Winter Solstice Ale now. So good.

I'm beginning to think we should make a "What's your poison?" thread.

Walking Dead Season 2 Episode 1. Finally finished it, I may go back and replay it because I realized I'm turning Clem into a evil spirited manipulative bitch, in the last couple scenes I could feel the evil coming off the screen in waves.  But I'll probably just go with it and create a parallel game save.  The "next on walking dead" teaser trailer makes me want Episode 2 yesterday.

Hee, my Clem is the same. I didn't think of it so much as evil spirited as just...kinda numb. I spent so much time trying to preserve her innocence in season one that watching her lose that innocence and become a little hardass is strangely satisfying. Besides, you have to admit that shutting Rebecca the fuck down was the most satisfying moment in the entire episode xD

PP: While I've never really been one to go all out in celebrating the new year, I do enjoy a low key night of doing something with friends or family, or even just being alone doing the usual thing. This year, I had to work a 15 hour day until 4 in the fucking morning on not even an hour of sleep. Not to mention I found out I'm scheduled on the ONE day this week that I specifically asked off, meaning I'm missing out on being able to actually play the Pathfinder game I helped write.

I'm glad I have a job. I know that I'm fortunate to even have one considering many can't even find one, but for fuck's sake...

...Princess Maker 2.

What have I become.

Edit: Well...I became a heartless parent. My daughter, however, is the best damn mercenary the world has ever seen.

Final Fantasy Tactics is too expensive for my tablet taste but still one I'll keep an eye on if SquareEnix ever puts it on the cheap. And how are the controls for it?

Hate to say it, but the current price of $6.99 is FFT being offered at 50% off. SquareEnix games are crazy expensive, so if you plan on ever picking it up, now's probably the time. Personally, I ignored the price. It's a 55 hour game, and one of my favorites from my childhood. As for the controls, they translate pretty well to tablet gaming. I still need to get used to them, myself, but that's true for any tablet game.

Got a bunch of Chuck Palahniuk novels on kindle, so I'm starting with Rant. It's fucking weird. I kinda like it. Already read Lullaby a few years ago, but the rest will be new to me, so...whoo.

Funny how I went from thinking ebooks were the devil to starting a small library of them.
