Does it really matter which one we post in? I can see J.C. in either the present, or the future one I suppose. I kind of like the idea of the Now-ish one where it's just one bar connected to everywhere.

In the old Phantom Menace Playstation game I would turn on the invincibility and went around Tatooine and killed everyone in town. One time when I was getting the pod racer parts I went and killed anyone that had the parts and got all the parts I needed. I go back to Anakin and he says he wouldn't help a murderer. I force slapped him 10 feet back. He stands up and walks back to his spot. I talked to him again and he said Wizzard, you got the parts! I laughed at that one.

Name: J.C. Carter
Age 21
Description: 6'2", toned, runner's physique. Blue hair usually kept spiked.
Race: Human, mostly.
Clothing: Jeans, sneakers, t-shirt and a garish lime green over shirt or coat.
Powers: Super intelligent, Super speed and energy blasts, but rarely uses those. Abnormal strength, speed, and, stamina, sub-superhuman levels.
Weapons: A set of large robotic hands that generate a mild forcefield to lessen damage taken, can be equipped with an array of weaponry, discs that range from explosive, electric, to flash-bangs. Also known to wield basic wrenches.
Job: Mad Scientist, ranges from consulting to odd jobs for the Meta-Unions.

Trying to work a new angle with J.C. that focuses on him using more tech and avoiding his super powers to use as a universal trump card, and because they unsettle him. I know it's not going to be any major story lines, but I had an idea that we could try, if it's all right. Episodic rping, small simple story lines, done in their own threads, but use the bar as a hub afterwards. That way if a few of us get an itch to do some more focused rp our chars can have a place to come back to and chat about it. Also we won't bog down one thread and drive others away if they're not a part of the story line hijacking the thread. Just an idea that we can hash out later if anyone is interested, just a a suggestion.

Whoa, that just blew my mind.

Dusting off our random rp chars? I could get behind that. Had some changes for J.C. worked out that would be cool to hash out in some casual rping.
21  General Discussion / Webcomics Discussion / Re: Zombie Waffe on: October 30, 2011, 03:16:11 pm
Aww... I misread the thread title and thought it was Zombie WAFFLE.  I am disapoint.

But the comic looks decent at least.  *bookmarks for later.*

I did too, actually. Pretty good, like the art, don't really like the updates whenever thing, but seems to update regularly, so I guess a little surprise is fun.
22  General Discussion / Zombie Stuff / Re: IS the zombie genre peaking? on: October 18, 2011, 08:19:08 pm
It was a good run and for the fans of the genre it's been great, but all fads must die down eventually. I think Steampunk is moving in now, at least in terms of books, seen a big influx of them. Not sure what the next all encompassing thing will be though, My Little Ponies? lol, I think we still have a few zombie movies floating in the works so hopefully we can go out with a bang before the fandom resurges.

Well it seems some Westlake Ace Hardware stores in Nebraska is having a special zombie theme for halloween. Zombie Preparedness for their region's website. I thought this was funny, but really what better Halloween home improvement theme could you go with?

The Industrial craft mod does look pretty cool, but seems like so much work. Fan of Yogscast?
26  General Discussion / Game Discussion / Re: City of Heroes Freedom on: September 28, 2011, 04:16:09 pm
Yeah, I think you have to be a a certain veteran tier to still have MM's free. I think they claim that since MM take more cpu to run they're reserved for paying players, and vets, but I think it's mostly to slow people down from getting to 50 alone. Since an MM is a one man army.

Links to how it's not going to be like the book plz? Ah found one. Brad Pitt is the leading role? That strikes me as weird. Not bad, but I wouldn't have thought of him for a zombie movie. Synopsis for those that didn't clicky the link: "The story revolves around United Nations employee Gerry Lane (Pitt), who traverses the world in a race against time to stop the Zombie pandemic that is toppling armies and governments and threatening to decimate humanity itself." Wow, that sounds really damned boring in comparison. Why bother taking the fresh and original approach to the zombie apocalypse that the book did and just make another of the same damn zombie movies you always make that I will still go see regardless of how much I am bitching at the moment because I am a tool for almost any zombie movie.

Has anyone else seen this? Make sure your volume is up enough for you to hear it and just scroll down and read the scary comic. It's not a screamer, well the comic doesn't scream at you, I sure as hell screamed at it though.
