It's a Concept Cosplay of what Kairi would have looked like if she went to Halloween Town in Kingdom Hearts. This is too awesome, because most Concept Cosplays fail, and hard.

I love Jolly Jack, and I would so wear a Yiff in Hell T-shirt just to see who got it. And then accuse them of being a furry, lol.

Just saw it yesterday! The zomedy is really the only thing keeping the zombie genre with any dignity. Although one thing I noticed, they kept mentioning trying to find a zombie free place, but they barely ran into any zombies through most of the movie. Really it seemed like as long as you avoided a high density population zone you didn't run into anything. The no name policy was good, call each other by where they were going. Geez, Wichita was stupid though. I mean I can understand the trying to keep some bit of her sister's childhood, even Little Rock was already basically a little con artist because of her older sister, not sure what bit of her childhood or innocence was left before the outbreak. Still, they never thought lighting that place up was a bad idea? I think she was lucky she was hot or Columbus and Tallahassee may not have been so quick to come and help.

Well the problem there is the music companies and their subsidiaries normally have Youtube channels themselves. And no one downloads off of Youtube, they use torrents, and other P2P sites. I suppose I could accept the argument that if someone finds a song on Youtube they may be more likely to download it since they're already on the computer, but that a weak justification really.

Well, it wasn't really Youtube, it was the copyright holders. Half of my amv's got tagged, one even got pulled by Youtube. I pulled the others down to keep my channel name safe, but that included my Ballroom Blitz vid of Ensouls' fan comic. I don't blame Youtube, I know it's the copyright holders that do it. It really sucks for amv makers though, what we do isn't protected under Fair Use because it's not deemed Parody. None of us are doing this as any form of copyright infringement, but we can actually be punished if we challenge our videos getting pulled and Youtube decides we're wrong. It just seems wrong that I could take a scene from any movie I wanted, replace all the dialogue with farting sounds and that video couldn't be pulled, but put hours into an AMV and it can just be brought down. Fan art isn't deemed copyright violation, I wish we could get that to apply a little more broadly in fan works. It's always the audio copyright holders too, they are some pretty anal guys. On a side note, where do you apply for the 'Surf Youtube all day' job?

Eh, I've grown a bit tired of Romero and his half assed attempts to force a message into every movie now. The whole 'maybe we're the monsters' mentality is kind of stupid to me.  Hell the description even says it:

"An undead parallel to the tribal wars that are plaguing our own society today, SURVIVAL OF THE DEAD exposes the futility of such conflict and the need for tolerance of the beliefs of others."

And shows through the power of friendship we can overcome anything! I suppose I wouldn't mind this as much if it wasn;t for the fact I remember an interview with Romero talking about Night of the Living Dead, wherein he talked about how people mentioned how the movie was showcasing tensions between race and he said that he didn't do any of that on purpose, the actors were just people he knew and used to fill the roles. Even though this symbolism was an accident, he's tried to force it into every movie after with less and less effective results. Also the portrayal of anyone willing to do what it takes to survive as an asshole or the villain is idiotic. That guy doesn't want to let in that other group of survivors because they might be infected, what a prick for him wanting to stay safe and alive. I'm not saying that you can't use a zombie movie to try and pass a positive message or as a social satire, but I can't think of one that's even done it in a way that wasn't hamfisted.

"From the very beginning, Romero has been making more than simple gore films. To be sure, he’s amazing at delivering “the blood-red goods,” but what makes his films classics are the underlying social and political threads interwoven with the rampant gut-munching. NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD played with themes of Vietnam-era paranoia, DAWN OF THE DEAD poked fun at mass-consumerism all the way up to DIARY OF THE DEAD which took aim at the journalistic and new media ethics (or lack thereof)."

That right there is bull shit, the only thing people remember about Diary is Samuel.

Clearly it's awesome because if you want the Zombie Outbreak to take hold it has to come out of McDonalds. Just find out where they get their oil for their fries, drop it in and bam US is zombified no time.
