In a [spoiler]discussion in a prometheus' big fan, i learned that they were on a different planet that Alien took place, so now the engineer being in a cockpit matter is irrelevant.
I do not like that the entire movie is setting up for the sequel. It should have at least some substance to itself.
Goo in the water thing- i still think that it was a retarded thing to do? What if the poisoned guy got airborne fast acting canceraids? And everyone died? THERE WOULD BE NO PROMETHEUS 2 AND 3. [/spoiler]

Prometheus. Fun to watch but [spoiler]its soo full of plot holes... and I hated the irish geologist space zombie. Just seemed retarded. Why do future scientists going to another planet forget to take some better sources of light than led flashlights, and why do their suits look so silly? Why did the "engineers" make the creatures? The idea of destroying earth life with them  seems a bit retarded, does it not? Why did the android give the goo to the scientist, when he had no idea on what would it do, possibly ruining the whole mission? I loved the scenery, but the way they searched the planet for aliens was idiotic. How did the "engineer" that died in the escape pod get to the cockpit that we know from alien the eight passenger? [/spoiler] So I liked the movie, but it wouldn't hurt if it was a bit more thought out:P
