This whole conversation on student exchange makes me think of John Cusak's neighbors in "Better off Dead."

I broke this out recently. I have no idea where the hell the cables went though:

DREAMCAST FOR THE WIN!
I have a similar problem with my Atari consoles. All three of them.
I really never play my 2600 anymore though I do still bust out the Flashback 2 console because it's easier to hook up to my TV.

This train of thought makes me think about the bunker coats worn by the Red Halos in their first real appearance way back when.  Specifically, were those bad ass bunker coats spit resistant?  If not would ANY fabric resist the mighty spit?  Seeing how fast it ate through that cable the group was hanging from I almost would think not.

If it was just the vertebrates that broke, and not his actual spine, he should be fine. But if his spinal column was damaged, he may have some sort of paralysis.
Quoted for truth.  The drummer in my old band fell off a roof and shattered two vertebrae.  EVERYONE feared the worst but he had no spinal cord damage and eventually recovered to around 90% which is pretty remarkable.  (The only lasting impact was loss of mobility around the broken vertebrae.)

He was back to drumming before the last cast came off which was even more remarkable.

Wait, people keep chickens as pets?  Silly people...

HK is right, you need to be playing Serious Sam, I had it for the PC when it first came out and it was EPIC.  The best FPS since Doom 1 and 2.  They really are a in class above all the rest.

Cuddly AND nutritious.

I love the way rabbit tastes, having been raised eating them as food I have a VERY difficult time relating to them as pets.

I want to get excited about New Vegas and to extent I AM but I'm waiting for the game of the year, all DLC included version to hit the stores.  We all know it's gonna come out and for Oblivion AND FO:3 I feel like I wasted my money by buying the game then buying the DLC as it was released.

I am looking forward to LA: Noir a lot, I'm a huge sucker for noir stylings (yes I'm one of those guys who have read every Dashiell Hammet and Raymond Chandler detective story).

And Etrian Oddess III comes out soon, looking forward to that.

Other than that I haven't been watching the coming games radar all that closely, it's hard for me to find time the games I have right now much less justify buying new ones.

PP: Lack of sleep.  I feel like I'm underwater and I'm already seeing the "grid."  And it's only Monday... this is going to be a long week.

Played some more Mass Effect 2, just arrived at Omega.  For all the hype I heard about ME2 fixing all the issues of ME I have to say I'm dissapointed.  The resource mining is really boring, am I the only one that misses exploring the planets with the Mako?

After going through so much trouble to explain WHY the guns in ME didn't need to reload I now how ammo management for my guns?  C'mon guys... I can see the thermal clips giving you an instant cool down when you want it but having NO heat dissipation whatsoever without them?

I do like that it's easier to get paragon/renegade point from conversations, it was hellishly hard to be a renegade in ME because usually the only way to get the big points was to shoot someone in the face... which usually meant you missed side quests and stuff.  So that's good at least.

It's still too early for me to tell whether or not I love or hate the game but it's definitely not ME with every issue magically solved.

A girl in my music class called Megadeth an emo band. I'm going to destroy her.
It sounds like we're all in agreement, this calls for a riot!

You just need to be careful which font you use when you use words like FLICK and names like CLINT.

Besides, I don't know how "converted" Norway can be considered.  It wasn't all that long ago they were burning churches.  Not making any judgement, just an observation...

Mass Effect 2, it's taken me two weeks to get out of the medical station you start in.  Not any sort of comment on how long the game is, more like how little time I've had for playing.
