Yea, I have time to watch ONE movie this weekend and I'm torn between Expendables and Scott Pilgrim.  I'm leaning towards Expendable currently.

Breaking Benjamin - Polyamorous

Nice, that's one of my favorites *thumbs up*.

Currently I'm listening to Weiber Un Wein by Alestorm.

The "Charlie scream" panel is probably my favorite picture of Charlie ever drawn.  Well, besides the one where he slid down the wire with his leg detached  laugh

It's been a long time since I used my melding jar but I seem to recall it added the bonus such as +3 shield with a +5 shield = +8 shield.  I think melding jars appear as drops after you make the first one appear (you'll know when you do) but if so they are SUPER rare.  I think I had found one once but didn't get it positively ID'd before I died so I can't be 100% certain.

I can't blame them, I spent more time playing the old Q2 DM levels than the Q4 campaign.

At whichever bar serves the Klondikes?

How about you?

Dude, I Quaked hard core from the day the shareware levels were released.  I have all the .pak files legit youknowhutI'msayin?

Back in the day I had a 1.1 gig hard drive (huge at the time) and the ENTIRE thing (minus whatever percentage I had to keep free for proper disk caching) was given over to Quake 1 (2 hadn't even come out yet) Q1 maps, Q1 modeling tools and level editors.

I would run my levels through five damn tools because each one had one aspect I liked better than the others.  Pretty much every waking moment was spent doing something quake related.  I had a nicely sadistic single player map that was impossible to get 100% completion on because I hid two zombies on either side of the players start point.  You could hear them moaning but could never find them...  hehehe

Shit, I miss when I had the time to do leveling.  The Duke build engine was fun to work with, it was like the Doom engine on steriods and I could twist it into doing things it was never meant to do.  Almost all the way up to its final demise Kali regularly used one of my Duke 3D maps in their ladder matches and another Duke 3D map had been adopted by a Duke clan as their official DM map.  True 3D games looked better but the modeling took so much longer...  I still have some of my old Duke levels around somewhere because they were small enough to carry around on floppies.  Almost all of my Quake and ALL of my Thief levels got lost in the great hard drive crash of 98, *cue bitter grumbling*  I was especially proud of one Thief level which on the hardest setting it started you with no sword, no actual arrows (only non lethal tool arrows) and the billy club AND the goal was to assassinate someone, I got so many emails complaining it was broken and unwinnable but they just weren't imaginative enough...

Ah, I miss the golden age of PC gaming.

I had it, but I wasn't a fan of the controls, so I deleted it.
Anyways, I'm downloading the Monday Night Combat Trial. So that should be awhile. I'll just play DS till then, or PS3 or Wii.
Yea... they sort of suck but it's still awesome to start it up and watch peoples reactions when they recognize the sounds.

I still haven't moved the full game pak file to my iPod, the demo levels are hard enough to beat with the crippled control scheme  laugh

Bleh....

I could rant about how pirating games ruins niche title importing and generally drive up game costs but I'm really just pissed off I can't buy Dark Spire from you.
2443  General Discussion / Game Discussion / Re: What are you playing? Episode 2: Sequel Reloaded! on: August 06, 2010, 05:50:44 pm
Yut, if you don't want your copy of Dark Spire I will buy it from you.

For reals.
