((OOC  Did Mary and Zach compare notes regarding what he already investigated?))

Still playing Izuna 2.  The dungeon floors are generally REALLY small and you have the chance to save at each staircase so it's perfect for grinding a few floors before I go to work.  Oh, and Nethack on my iPod, every chance I get.

I also just bought all the DLC for Borderlands because it was deal of the week but I haven't played them yet, probably this weekend.

yeah shoddy amplifiers are wiiiieerd, if you put the patch cord under your tongue you can get radio

I was going to talk about proper gounding and how gain settings can effect signal noise from your pickups but nevermind.  Just don't lick the power cord when it's plugged into the wall...

When Carl turns to face it, the "creature" is nowhere to be seen.  The only indication it was ever actually there is business card for a local Addiction Counseling center.  Scrawled on the face of the card, just under the phone number is, "Please call them before it's too late," below the note an odd symbol is sketched.  Despite the breeze that is blowing through the alley the card has not blown away.

"Well well well, if it isn't Carl."  The distinctivly oily voice of the creature from earlier said conversationally in Carl's ear as Carl began to relieve himself..

"You know that laws prohibiting this sort of thing exist don't you?"  It clucked its tongue.

"Trouble is coming for you Carl, if you continue down this path.  Trouble I won't be able to prevent, and I'd hate to see one of Brookvales luminaries brought low in such a way."

Hey Fire, did you remember to give them ammo?

I read your post and immediately pictured you sending a horde of dupes to die as a distraction for something nefarious.

Truant, check your PMs, the time I gave isn't very flexible unless you can afford to wait until sometime next week.  Something I started a while back is going to need me to finish it sooner than I expected.

That's just wrong... yet I laughed anyway.

Got Dragon Warrior IX yesterday, hit level 9 before going to sleep. Grinding seems quite a bit easier, and I like that.

I am all kinds of jealous right now.

I could see doing that for a marriage proposal but just asking for a date?  That grinding be too much effort.

Replaying Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure that was on the Genesis. Bought a few days ago for the Wii and I've been playing it nonstop.

I used to love that game.

So did you get the DLC without having to pay again?

Yea, FYI in case this happens to anyone else:

If the points get deducted an entry gets made in your download history, whether the file starts to download or not.  Select the entry in your download history and choose to download it again.

Call Tech Support, they can straighten the whole thing out.

Yea...  Tech support kept putting me on hold and transferring me.  By the time I finally reached the one guy who knew what he was doing I already had it figured out myself.

PP:  Unsupportive tech support.

No...  Hating seagulls is like hating roaches, they're like flying, disease spreading rats.

PP:  Fucking Microsoft/XBox live.  I just bought 400 MS points to download the new Toy Soldiers addon and the fucking thing wouldn't download.  Eventually the download attempt timed out and when I went to redownload it?  The fucking thing subtracted my points and wants to charge me again even though the download failed?  Fuck no.  I want my fucking download...

Brandon left the diner feeling confused.  How could it be that in less than 12 hours he gone from worrying most about what he was going to eat next to disussions of mass murder?  Or maybe extermination depending on how you looked at it...

He was so deep in thought he almost couldn't feel the biting cold on the short ride back to his apartment.  He arrived home with barely enough time to throw his guitar into its case and wrapp up his cords and cables before the familiar pounding sounded on his door.  "Yea guys, I'm ready,"  Brandon locked the apartment door behind him as he left, his gear was swiftly loaded into the van and he climbed in after it as they pulled away from the curb.  He felt distant from his band mates even as they reviewed the setlist and cracked jokes as usual.  They hadn't seen the creatures he could see had they?  Did it make a difference?

Once they arrived Brandon threw himself into helping set up for the show and tried to keep from thinking about anything but the performance.
