Rule 34 strikes again.

Yea, one of these days my webcomic will happen.  Or so I tell myself every once in a while when it seems that the dream has totally died.

I think we had two respondents if I remember, one semi serious and one obviously not serious at all.  Since we had three prizes we were holding out for one more respondent but alas...  we failed at drumming up interest.

Indeed, I did a guest comic page (complete with an obscure Lucasarts adventure game reference) for TZH and a special comic promoting a contest the mods/admins did on the forum many Christmas's ago.  I think Jenny still has them somewhere on the site in fan works and I had honestly forgotten I did them  laugh

I CAN draw (sort of) the hell of it is I can't find the time to do a webcomic.  And I've wanted to for a very long time  Cry

There were multiple Flashback consoles, get the second one.  It had lots of good games as well as a number of homebrews specific to it.  It's also the easiest Flashback console to mod to accept actual 2600 cartridges, (something I bought all the shit for but haven't actually done yet) because the dev team knew it was true old school game freaks wanted.

This whole conversation on student exchange makes me think of John Cusak's neighbors in "Better off Dead."

I broke this out recently. I have no idea where the hell the cables went though:

DREAMCAST FOR THE WIN!
I have a similar problem with my Atari consoles. All three of them.
I really never play my 2600 anymore though I do still bust out the Flashback 2 console because it's easier to hook up to my TV.

This train of thought makes me think about the bunker coats worn by the Red Halos in their first real appearance way back when.  Specifically, were those bad ass bunker coats spit resistant?  If not would ANY fabric resist the mighty spit?  Seeing how fast it ate through that cable the group was hanging from I almost would think not.

If it was just the vertebrates that broke, and not his actual spine, he should be fine. But if his spinal column was damaged, he may have some sort of paralysis.
Quoted for truth.  The drummer in my old band fell off a roof and shattered two vertebrae.  EVERYONE feared the worst but he had no spinal cord damage and eventually recovered to around 90% which is pretty remarkable.  (The only lasting impact was loss of mobility around the broken vertebrae.)

He was back to drumming before the last cast came off which was even more remarkable.

Wait, people keep chickens as pets?  Silly people...

HK is right, you need to be playing Serious Sam, I had it for the PC when it first came out and it was EPIC.  The best FPS since Doom 1 and 2.  They really are a in class above all the rest.

Cuddly AND nutritious.

I love the way rabbit tastes, having been raised eating them as food I have a VERY difficult time relating to them as pets.

I want to get excited about New Vegas and to extent I AM but I'm waiting for the game of the year, all DLC included version to hit the stores.  We all know it's gonna come out and for Oblivion AND FO:3 I feel like I wasted my money by buying the game then buying the DLC as it was released.

I am looking forward to LA: Noir a lot, I'm a huge sucker for noir stylings (yes I'm one of those guys who have read every Dashiell Hammet and Raymond Chandler detective story).

And Etrian Oddess III comes out soon, looking forward to that.

Other than that I haven't been watching the coming games radar all that closely, it's hard for me to find time the games I have right now much less justify buying new ones.
