No sweat.  Thanks for letting me know ahead of time.

Brandon shrugged.  "Not much to tell.  I dropped of high school because I knew if I sat in a classroom any longer I was going to go insane."  He paused to finish his coffee.  "Now I'm making a living with my band, it's been great so far.  My parents are still expecting me to fuck it up and come crawling back home to them.  I'd rather sleep in a cardboard box than go back though."

"You sound like you know something about this things, anything I should know up front?"
2883  Roleplaying / RPG Graveyard / Re: Hunter the Reckoning: Brookvale on: April 07, 2010, 06:05:02 pm
Brandon visibly grit his teeth at the word "nightmares."

"I've had nightmares for years and I know evil exists in this world, monsters whatever.  I saw it myself years ago but not like this , not like today.  No, today was different," he gripped his coffee cup and stared deep into it, not so much talking to Mary as talking and knowing that she was listening.  "I want do what I can to help you get your kid back.  Whatever this is I hope it helps me find answers to what happened me back then."

Brandon trailed off, not really sure what else to say.  He ran his hand through his hair, through the gray streak he had, as though trying to rub it away.

He looked up as Zach sat down and smiled.  "It's no sweat, my name is Brandon, good to see you again."

I've only seen the northern lights twice from my home state (Illinois) though I've seen them a number of times in Michigan and Canada.  The closer you are the better they look.

PP:  People I work with who can't fucking come to work when they're scheduled.

(((Other than some caffiene jitters nothing to resolve in the coffee shop.)))

Brandon nods at Mary as she sits down across from him.

He took a moment to study her before he said anything, sipping his coffee.  "You look like you need some sleep," he said finally.  He was concerned at the fatigue he saw in her eyes, yet the obvious pain and determination he also saw dissuaded him from saying anything further.  Instead he changed subjects.

"So this is all pretty new to me, is this a regular thing for you?  Seeing monsters and stuff I mean?  What's going on out there?"

Hmmm, I think your plan for global domination conflicts with my own...

Just in case I can't subjugate all of humanity before I die I'd like to get a book published.  Possibly even a trilogy.

First car?

*Shakes his head.*

I did all I could.  I don't know where I went wrong.

I just don't know...

Mystery Science Theater 3000  aka MST3K.

It was a cable comedy show where a guy would watch crappy movies with two robots and they would mercilessly make fun of it from start to finish.  Awesome fun.  Not really the realm of the webcomic thread but google it, or better yet go find one of the season box sets and buy it.  Also check out the modern day incarnation, "Rifftrax."

Oh to be sure, if you would like I can begin my "I hate Rob Liefeld" rant  Tongue

What it really boils down to is that I enjoy being a nitpicker, especially when it comes to teh boobehs.  If you can't draw them, don't try to showcase them for teh sexeh.  Just a rule of thumb of mine.

And Greg and I got a good 20 minutes of amusement ripping into Spinerette MST3K style so I can honestly say I got my enjoyment out of it  Grin

Well, the comic is still young.
And they have already "teased" by having nipple revealing clothing.

Yea, I'm still trying to figure out how her roommate's nipple can be shown in silhouette when she's facing 3/4 away.  I don't think the artist has ever seen a woman before.

Haha, it just looks like one.  No hentai so far.

It's always a good moment when a friend sees a fundamental truth for what it is.

AP:  The cafeteria had awesome food for once.

The character states that her "butt" shoots web, we merely discussed how the comic art does not support the statement.  Rather we theorize that her butt cheeks create and store the webbing (look at the out of control ghetto booty showcased in today's comic for reference) and it's expelled somewhere near the base of her spine, not the butt proper.

Actually Greg and I have come up with a workable theory regarding her anatomy.

I can't have both?

Daphne then.

Biggest thing you want to do but haven't done yet.
