Interesting, I took the quiz and it tells me Templar but I have to say I feel more like an Illuminatus.

Gamerscore is failfail.

Aaand...In addition to what Yut said: Left 4 Dead, Saint's Row 2, and...Yeah. XD

Quoted for truth and because Saint's Row 2 is THE best co-op experience ever.  Get a friend and trash the city together, you will not be dissapointed.

The formula for figuring out if a band is "punk" is very simple.

Major label = not punk.  The two are completely 100% mutually exclusive.

Having performed any song or songs with the use of orchestral backing = not punk (the Ramones get a buy on this one because it was done at gun point, Phil Spector is a whack job...)

Other criteria can also be used to further whittle down your contendors but it's sort of like buying a Rolls Royce, if you have to ask...

No other genre is shot through with posers more than punk which is sad since punk is more about pure attitude than any other genre, making punk posers some of the saddest losers on the planet.

Punk was/is about the refusal to accept the mainstream, it's about doing it yourself regardless of lack of technical prowess.  It's about picking up a guitar with a fistful of rage and writing music despite how many people tell you that you can't.  It's not about huge record sales or tons of fans, it's about the experience.  Punks were the true outlaws of the music scene, seeing hack pukes like Green Day marketed as punk makes me sick to my fucking stomach.
3064  General Discussion / General Discussion / Re: What did we learn today? (Apart from that australian wine rocks.) on: September 08, 2009, 08:00:35 am
Today I learned I have way more self control than I ever thought I could have and the douche who is currently not in the hospital or the morgue right now has no idea how close he came to death and or maiming.

I fucking hate having to deal with problems like a rational reasonable person, some situations call for extreme violence and I feel personally cheated that I was presented with one and took the higher road.

TIL there is no satisfaction in taking the higher road.

Pretty Pretty Babushka

I...I don't think he knew what babushka means...

Edit: Oops...fixed

Babushka is a type of womens scarf worn over the head. (For those of you who did not have the benefit of growing up in one of Chicagos Polish communities.)

AP: A little game called Gladius which I found in a bargain bin.
But it is too strong for me.
I fear it will have to burn with Little Big Planet so I can save myself.
AP2: Fire. Lots of fire. *___*

Gladius was a lot of fun, it's one of those great games that no one ever seems to have heard of.

Evil Rubik's Cubes? Upside: I once got milady's bra undone one handed. Downside: I have never been able to replicate this action despite many experiments. Consequence: Hilarity on her part until I challenge her to try and undo bits of my clothing and it fast becomes clear that clothes in general are like Chinese puzzle boxes when worn by someone else.
And I love the spectators in the last panel.
The one handed bra unhook is indeed epic though rarely performed.

Yes it will be.

I chuckled.  But I know a gluon from a quark so I may be in a rare demographic.
3071  General Discussion / Game Discussion / Re: PS3 Slim on: September 02, 2009, 09:16:19 am
As long as it's not like downloading 360 games straight to 360. Friggin' rip off! I can get prey for $8! They ask for $30?!
I can also get Bioshock and Oblivion in one package for $40! They ask $40 for each!

Ninja'd: It was Sarcasm...

You are an informed consumer.  But you know that there are people who either don't know better or are too lazy to go to the store and check prices before they download something.  I'm sure Micro$oft is making a fortune with these.

Zoidberg still makes me laugh because even as he's eating ships I hear him doing his "whoop whoop whoop".  Hehe...

Hes an Australian Sheperd/cattle dog, and we believe there is something else in him as well. Crazy little guy. He scares my cat, but he is far more afraid. Its quite funny!

AP: Mah kitteh. She is the boss!

What breed?  I had a Blue Heeler way back when and it was an excellent dog.  Very energetic though.
3075  General Discussion / Movies/TV Discussion / Re: Animes on: September 02, 2009, 09:03:02 am
The thing with anime is that there's so god damn much of it, it's pretty much impossible to find something you don't like.

Those of you who like Black Lagoon should check out Baccano. I haven't seen all of it, but it's very promising. The premise? Mafia war in New York, with some truly memorable and just plain cool characters.

(Do mind that I love Black Lagoon and would not place it, like and recommended in the same sentence unless I really mean it.)

And the nudity in Elfen Lied isn't artistic, it's fan dis-service Tongue (And yes, I love that show, too.)

And one final one for you action freaks: Darker Than Black, also an excellent one.

Makes note to check out Baccano and Darker than Black.  I loves the action!
