The clerk glances down and the card at nods once. "Right this way ma'am, your friend will have to wait here." The clerk escorts Mary into the safety deposit box vault where you both insert a key into the box 22 vault door. After unlocking the door he removes a mid size safety deposit box and hands it to Mary, it's not very heavy, maybe twelve pounds at most. He then leads her to a private booth with a table. "When you're ready to return the box to the vault let me know." He turns on his heel and retreats from the room leaving her alone.
Zach, you're left in the lobby until Mary returns.

(((OOC No sweat, we'll just RP that way then ))) The clerk looks at the key Mary offers and raises an eyebrow. "I'm sorry, you're not on the list of people who are authorized to open this box." He pauses, a slight frown appearing, "Unless you have some sort of other ID?"

(((Helmi, I didn't see your edited note about the meet with Zealot until just now. No it won't screw anything up gamewise. Don't expect to have him come back to Brookvale with you and help whoop ass though. Also keep in mind, you know him but Zach doesn't and he doesn't know Zach. I have question for Mary and Zach, are they currently armed? If so with what. Also I see I forgot to mention that the key is stamped with the number 22, sorry.))) The First National Bank of Brookvale was one of the larger banks in the downtown area. When Mary and Zach arrived at 8:15 it was moderately busy. The security guard near the door eyed Zach and his long coat as they entered, making sure Zach noticed he was watching him. There is a cluster of offices to the right of the entrance. The row of tellers extends off to the left, the lobby is very loud but that has more to do with the marble and glass decorating scheme than how busy it is.

So I've been up for a bit now, had some caffiene and some nicotine and pretty much have convinced myself that I'm not coming off a bad acid trip or really intense contact high so...
I'm going to ask a few questions that I'm sure are really fucking basic and will get me further ridiculed by the gun wielding madmen.
Truant already touched on part of it earlier, the new language I apparently learned while I wasn't paying attention. Who leaves these messages? I saw a few this morning and I just saw a few more, just little random bits of graffiti but I know what it means, it pulls my attention, it's weird.
And related to that, I saw three words magically appear this morning. A printed page said one thing then changed to say the three words then changed back. First word was "unatural" This one made sense because at the time someone was walking past me who definitely wasn't natural. But to be honest I don't really know what it was/is. It was a guy, tall, very thin, dressed in expensive looking clothes and wearing a long coat. But it wasn't just a guy, he was gray and smudgy around the edges, and sometimes seemed to be something else, like a cloud or smoke or something. So yea, not natural. The next word was "beware." That also made sense, I would be pretty worried about someone who wasn't cautious around something that weird. It's the third word that confuses the hell out of me. "Balance." I'm not sure what it means in context of the creature, or any creature. What sort of balance do we have with them?

(((So would Mary go straight to the bank from work? Stop at home to change? I gather that Zach is more or less tagging along with her wherever she goes? FYI the bank lobby doesn't open until 8:00 AM, this would be something Mary would know as a resident of Brookvale.)))

Joe's head reappeared at the window over the counter. "Mary, you're killing me. At least wait until 7:00 when Barb gets on ok? You can call it a day then. And where the hell is our breakfast rush? Lousy fuckin' recession..." Joe vanished again. For the time being he hadn't noticed that the diner had been unofficially closed. It's currently 6:40.
