I'm wondering if Charlie sometimes gets his mealtime blood delivered in the form of fresh corpses. In that case, this would be the part-zombie equivalent of "Oops, silly me, left the oven on."

Otherwise, someone in the building's gone a bit cuckoo and now they have to play a lifesize game of Clue.

Do Jenny and Sam realize the best mode of action is to film Charlie and put it on Youtube?
Because that seems like necessary procedure.

Just finished "Ruby Slippers, Golden Tears". It's a collection of rewritten fairy tales. Lovely, morbid stuff.
No more non-textbook reading until I finish my midterms. >:

I got my book a few weeks ago, not sure exactly when it arrived since it shipped to my mom's. But the quality's lovely! The pages are nice and shiny and it all looks good. 8D

Cue wild speculation on what "put down like the rest of them" means.
Maybe someone in their building was bitten and managed to hide it, and the resulting infection turned nasty and spread to a few others. An event like that would only reinforce distrust and paranoia. Actually, a bite wouldn't even be necessary, someone could have just keeled over and turned in their proximity and things got nasty. Perhaps even a few non-bitten people might have been shot in the confusion, and the scared larger population would look at it like, "Well they were infected anyway, it's what they deserve! (no way it can happen to me)"

Can half-lives have children?

Does Charlie ever want to hear the shuffle-shuffle of tiny feet down the hall? o_o

Jenny has made us slaves, her plan is to have us do a team jenny/team charlie to bring in huge profit from the merchandise we will buy and the movies that will be made.

The truly brilliant part is where all the fans will be amassed in one giant gladiator ring and handed wiffle bats with nails. May the best team win.

That is bloody clever.
Yeah, I'm noting that one.

In case I'm ever stuck with rats for an extended period of time, and don't have a cat. Or a dog (that ONCE caught a rat after years of yapping at them, and she was so pleased with herself)

That podcast looks interesting. Definitely hitting any and all writing advice with the force of a truck.

PP: Boss didn't send the schedule out until this morning when I was supposed to get it last night. Also, my 16-year-old coworker refuses to take any more shifts after school starts. It's the first week of high school. You're not doing anything strenuous, TRUST ME.

PP2: I didn't find out when one of my good friends was leaving for school on the other side of the country until after he'd already left. ;_; Your facebook status is not a good way to tell people these things.

Yutrzenika: I'm so sorry. I hope he had a good life.

Smart of Mercer to have an off button and all, but I can imagine forgetting the contraption on a desk and leaning on it. "Oops!"

Wonder what the range is.
