Probably around 3, and I like making things boom.
Evocation Specialist. Focus on spells like Fireball, Cone of Cold, etc.

Played some more SW RPG last night...my poor wookie seems to draw fire...litterally. He's was set on fire twice. It's also become a running joke that I press the "I mean you know harm" button on my vox-box (little box that has 12 pre-programed phrases in it, used by species that can't speak basic to communicate with people that can't speak their language), WHILE I'm shooting at people. Can have some rather humorous results.

really depends on your play style and level.

Played a little Lego Star Wars III. It's...lego star wars. Lots of mindless fun. Bad controls. Bad directions on how to advance missions. Basicly...same crap different game. Graphics are a bit improved over previous games. That's about it.

Couldn't kick them out...if we did...at least 2 people would have left (the bad player's spouse). And they were good. They were arguing on our side. The problem with the long encounter was we had to explain EVERYTHING to them. They'd obviously never even read up on what Jedi/Lightsaber capabilities are in SWRPG...or seen the movies. Sorry, but if you're gonna play a game based on Star Wars (with 3 people that you could argue are complete fanboys, and 3 other people that at least had the decency to skim the SW Wiki), you should have the decency to know what your class/race is capable of, and a rough understanding of the background

it actually got a lot worse then that. Basically, because of that character not knowing about the setting/lore/game rules...an encounter that should have taken us 45min-2hrs...took us 4.5hrs to get through.

So I've been playing a bit of Star Wars Saga Edition lately. Must say that as a diehard Star Wars Fan, I heartily approve. Weapons deal more damage then they do in DnD, and healing is much harder (particularly compared to 4e). However, even the relative lack of healing, serves to make you feel like more of a BAMF. It also encourages people to play more tactically (ex: I play a wookie soldier. When we assaulted a safehouse, I ran ahead of the rest of the group, opening doors so the others could advance at full speed, and causing anyone with prepared actions to use those actions). Where it falls apart is that when someone knows next to nothing about Star Wars lore, and has obviously not read the books, they can really slow down the game. Having to explain to a Jedi why 2 jedi armed with lightsabers could easily cut a five foot diameter hole in a 4" thick permacrete wall is annoying. Especially when it takes 30ish minutes before they concede the point and let the game continue.
