Jesus, how casual can you get?
I'm casual for not enjoying a game that hasn't aged well? Okay. At least I'm giving the game another chance.

Started The Walking Dead Episode 5.

EDIT: Finished episode 5.

I laughed.

Giving Thief 1 another go. I bought it, so I feel obligated to finish it. On mission 4, Assassins.

I played the first Bioshock and ignored the second one. so i guess the joke's on you  V Huh? V

Also, Playstation, you would get more money out of me if you backwards compatible'd your older games, damn it. [shakes fist]
You're not really missing out on Bioshock 2, it's basically the exact same game as the first Bioshock. Bioshock Infinite... They sorta Call of Duty'd it up, two guns only, more linear, recharging health, stronger emphasis on combat over exploration, stuff like that.

Just finished TWD Season 2. The ending definitely didn't pack as big a punch a season 1, but it was still pretty solid. I'm looking forward to season 3.
I still need to play the finale of that. I think I'm gonna be done after Season 2 though, I'm just kinda losing interest, and some aspects of the writing have been bugging me. It's probably not going to end anytime soon either, just like the comics and the TV Series.

I don't have my ps2 ... or i don't have the cords for it. ; ^ ;
the biggest pet peeve is playstation doesn't even bother with the backwards compatibility because of something.

But, I bought James Bond: Blood Stone for like 4 bucks.
And Bioshock Infinite, I haven't played it yet so yay.
Nightfire was released on basically every platform known to man, it's on PC, and I'm sure you can run it. It's not on steam, so you can just torrent it.
Sony did do backwards compatibility for PS3... On the original "Fat" models. But then they figured "PS3 has enough games, we can cut out backwards compatibility for the new models." So all the Slim models don't have backwards compatibility, and what's funny is that as soon as they did that everybody started rereleasing their PS2 games in PS3 HD Collections.
Bioshock Infinite... If you're a fan of the first two, prepare to be disappointed. :I

Been playing Red Orchestra 2 online, soooo much fun, easily one of the most enjoyable World War 2 shooters I've played in quite awhile. Last server I was in had Russian players. IT'S LIKE I WAS REALLY THERE AT THE BATTLE FOR STALINGRAD.

I've been playing Quantum of Solace. It's a mix of Casino Royale and QoS. It's actually a pretty decent game, imo. A LOT better than 007 Legends. Legends has so many bugs that I'm regretting it every time I sit and play it, but I want to finish it, damn it.

Basically Goldeneye Reloaded > Quantum of Solace > 007 Legends.

I'm trying to find the others like Agent Under Fire, Everything or Nothing and From Russia with Love. i'm sorry i get such a lady boner for James Bond, daniel craig or not
Like HK-47, I totally recommend Nightfire. So much fun.

Yeah, there was that. It definitely didn't come close to living up to the hype, but let's be honest- how many video games do? I guess I got it long enough after it came out that I'd forgotten the hype, so could enjoy it for what it was.
Yeah I definitely still had a lot of fun with it.

Finished Dead island: Riptide yesterday. I thought it was a DLC, not a sequel, for bloody ages. Why I only recently bought it. I found it rather similar to Dead Island, though with a few extra features. I really don't get why those two games got so much flak, I liked 'em. Very fun.
They received flak because the first game had a very well received, emotional trailer to go with it, the final game has you playing as 4 stereotyped characters, with a pretty forgettable story, with none of the emotion from the trailer. Graphics aren't very pretty, full of visual glitches and stuff. I did enjoy the first one though, I really dug the analog melee system. I look forward to Dead Island 2, which looks a lot more tongue in cheek, as well as techlands new zombie game "Dying Light".

Well that was my experience of the 5 or so hours I spent playing it. I had no trouble sneaking past guys for the most part, but it just really drags on and on, since a slow walk over gravel can alert guys through stone walls, and the only way to sneak without making noise is by moving at a snails pace. The "Alert Phase" of the guards feels too punishing as well, I mean I know the goal of stealth games is to not get caught... But the guards can outrun you and take forever to take out, it doesn't really feel like I have any sort of chance if I get caught.

This is also kind of the reason I had trouble getting back into the first three splinter cell games after so many years, they're just mindnumbingly slow paced, and the enemy AI is kinda wonky.

Giving up on Thief. As much as I love stealth action, I just cannot get into it, playing newer and more refined stealth games has probably ruined it for me. It's absurdly slow paced. The AI is a little too aware, being able to hear you through walls, and then there's basically no way to defend yourself if you get caught. Being caught basically means "Open the menu and load last save because there's nothing you can do." The one time I did try to defend myself, I whipped out my sword and basically left clicked on the guard for a full minute before he died, I could have just been trying to make another attempt at sneaking past in the time it took to kill him.
A quick google search shows Thief 1 and 2 take on average about 20 hours to complete just for a straight playthrough. I just don't have the patience to play something like that for 20 hours

For the most part, the story to me, is AMAZING. everything else, not so much. The controls are wonky, little to no response on the PS3 controller, too many glitches, the "fighting" parts of the game just slow everything down. When you have to exorcise the demons, it's the same way every damn time. I felt like it could have been so much better if there was a way to "upgrade" getting rid of them, etc. I'd give it a 6/10 and not worth playing again. Though, I do want to 100% the damn game, so I might play it through one more time to do so. I only need three more achievements.

PP: going from nights to days sucks hardcore.
Oh god I hate that, when games just tack on fighting. Condemned 2 had the same issue. It's a psychological horror, there's combat and such, but you mainly rely on melee weapons (which break after too much use), and guns can be found, but ammo doesn't last long at all, and they're few and far between. End of the game it just becomes a full blown FPS, dropping assault rifles for you everywhere.

PP: My Murdered: Soul Suspect save glitched out and I accidentally deleted it so now I have to play the entire game to get to where I was at before. Before that, the part I was at, glitched out and I couldn't poltergeist a certain item to get to the next part of the game. It was working fine before but when it was working, I tried to get to the next section of the game, it didn't register so I got to like, the next level of the game by teleporting to a random spot, triggering a completely different part of the game.

Yeah, apparently, this is the glitchy-est part of the game. And it's right by the ending, too.
I haven't really heard much positive stuff regarding the game. Which is a shame, it sounded interesting. Maybe I'll try it when it hits the bargain bins. If I remember correctly, you enjoyed LA Noire, you may like Kentucky Route Zero, if you haven't already tried it.

PP: So I'm going to get into the security field, since college is kind of not my interest right now. I'm just kinda getting crazy anxiety now, about everything.

You copied the link wrong. Also, I think Bruce is a bit too old for Evil Dead now.

Kentucky Route Zero. Surreal point and click adventure with excellent writing. I strongly recommend it.
