For the most part, the story to me, is AMAZING. everything else, not so much. The controls are wonky, little to no response on the PS3 controller, too many glitches, the "fighting" parts of the game just slow everything down. When you have to exorcise the demons, it's the same way every damn time. I felt like it could have been so much better if there was a way to "upgrade" getting rid of them, etc. I'd give it a 6/10 and not worth playing again. Though, I do want to 100% the damn game, so I might play it through one more time to do so. I only need three more achievements.

PP: going from nights to days sucks hardcore.
Oh god I hate that, when games just tack on fighting. Condemned 2 had the same issue. It's a psychological horror, there's combat and such, but you mainly rely on melee weapons (which break after too much use), and guns can be found, but ammo doesn't last long at all, and they're few and far between. End of the game it just becomes a full blown FPS, dropping assault rifles for you everywhere.

PP: My Murdered: Soul Suspect save glitched out and I accidentally deleted it so now I have to play the entire game to get to where I was at before. Before that, the part I was at, glitched out and I couldn't poltergeist a certain item to get to the next part of the game. It was working fine before but when it was working, I tried to get to the next section of the game, it didn't register so I got to like, the next level of the game by teleporting to a random spot, triggering a completely different part of the game.

Yeah, apparently, this is the glitchy-est part of the game. And it's right by the ending, too.
I haven't really heard much positive stuff regarding the game. Which is a shame, it sounded interesting. Maybe I'll try it when it hits the bargain bins. If I remember correctly, you enjoyed LA Noire, you may like Kentucky Route Zero, if you haven't already tried it.

PP: So I'm going to get into the security field, since college is kind of not my interest right now. I'm just kinda getting crazy anxiety now, about everything.

You copied the link wrong. Also, I think Bruce is a bit too old for Evil Dead now.

Kentucky Route Zero. Surreal point and click adventure with excellent writing. I strongly recommend it.

Picked up Shovel Knight. Holy shit balls is it ever good. 10/10 strongly recommend.

Also been playing Insurgency. It makes me regret buying Counter Strike: GO.

CS:GO bugs the shit out of me, I mean the only way to win is to get headshots, that's it. Any gun is useless on the move except in extreme close quarters, they're just total bullet hoses, I've been in close range and have unloaded on guys and have half my shots miss, but if you sit still and crouch down they become more accurate, the problem is if you stand still you die 99% of the time because it's such a fast game. So most of the time you just aim for center of mass and hope one of your bullets happens to hit them in the head. How is that supposed to be fun?

I just kinda wanna say, the text is pretty small, I could see it being difficult for some people to read.

theres this thing called google, everybody talks about it on the internet, look it up:P
I shouldn't have to look up how to play the game. The game should just tell me how to play. Either way, I lost patience and deleted it. It was free, so it's not like I lost anything other than time.

Been playing Wolfenstein: The New Order. One of the better shooters I've played in quite awhile.

Got War Thunder on PS4... Is this game supposed to be fun? The literally just drop you in with no fucking explanation. How do I switch from plane to tanks? Are tanks not available for all countries? How does research work? Why does it only offer tutorials for how to fly planes?

From what I've noticed the new blood doesn't generally stick around very long unfortunately. And yeah, the kids these days with their facebooks and tweeters and whatnot. Oh well.

Well, this forum as a whole is pretty dead now. It's been fun I guess.

Red Faction 1. Got it cheap on PSN, along with Red Faction 2. I really loved RF1 on PC, used to play it a ton on PC. I'm pretty angry about it right now, though. Maybe it's just because it's the PS2 version, but the hit detection is AWFUL, I can be literally point blank and have rounds miss, and then the weapon accuracy is all over the place, where a bullet will land is totally random, and zerg rushing enemies is probably the fastest way to kill them.
Of course, this was before proper auto aim was invented on consoles, so it has that god awful lock on that was in GoldenEye and Perfect Dark, which only locks on to enemies chests. You can disable the autoaim, but good luck hitting anything.
What else? Well, I get to a boss fight, against some floating guy with a nanotech shield thingy that shoots lasers or some shit, anyways, an AI partner blows through a wall coming from some cave, in this cave is some gear to aid in the boss fight, so I go in there, get it, decide to save, and die... No biggie, reload autosave, and instant game over, the game thinks I went too far into the cave and abandoned the boss fight. Alright, no big deal, reload auto save. Wait, what's that? The game doesn't have auto save, even though auto save is a pretty widespread feature by then? Okay, well let's just go to level select and get as close as possibl- Wait, what? It doesn't have level select either? So I have to start the game over entirely? Hahahaha, fuck that, fuck your shit game design, I am not replaying that at all. I'll just wait for the PC version to go on sale, I'll cheat my way through so that I'm relatively close to where I was on the PS2 version, and continue from there normally.

Trying to keep myself away from Doom, I'm pretty addicted to it. I don't think I can ever grow bored of it, as long as people keep making new mods and maps for it, and people still are all the time, the Dooming community is an amazing and dedicated one.

Anyways... Other games.

Battlefield 4, recently. Yeah, I know you all have probably heard about how broken or buggy or whatever it is... Though for me personally, playing it on the PS4, I haven't run into a helluva lot of issues. At least, not enough to really ruin my enjoyment of it. The latest DLC for it, Naval Strike, is probably one of the more enjoyable DLCs I've played recently.

I "beat" Gone Home earlier. I like the method of delivering the games story, non linear, visual storytelling, through notes and stuff, as a storytelling mechanic it's pretty great, and they did a good job of making this sort of unsettling, almost horror atmosphere for the mansion. However the story itself, while not really tackled often in games, isn't really all the special, it felt like oscar bait. I'm glad I bought it on sale though, it's not worth the full price.

AP:  A few years ago I invented the best way to eat leftover spaghetti and today I made it even better.

So one day I had a bunch of leftover spaghetti and decided to punch it up a bit because I wasn't in the mood for that slightly soggy taste leftover pasta always seems to have.  So I dumped it in a baking dish, put some mozzarella cheese on top, baked it til the cheeze melted and started to brown at the edges, viola!  Spaghetti bake.  Simple, and delicious.

Tonight while I was getting ready to make a batch I had a slip of the tongue and called it pizza bake.  Then I was like, "why not?"  Layer of cheese went on top like normal, then pepperoni, and another light dusting of cheese.  Amazing.

This has been, cooking leftovers with Outlaw, join us next time where he shares his recipe for Mexican spaghetti!

That sounds delicious.

Playing the original Deus Ex, have it on steam, just haven't played it that much. It's really hard playing the original game coming from Human Revolution, HR feels much more refined. The original has lots of really "Gamey" feeling stuff, that just kinda bogs down the experience. The biggest gripe I have so far is every weapon you use is total shit until you get the necessary amount of points to upgrade your skills, which can take a fair bit, I've gone through two missions now and don't have enough to upgrade my pistol skill yet, so a majority of the time I just zerg rush them with a knife, or spray and pray. Another issue is that there's no apparent autosave function (a feature most games had at the time), and as a result it just encourages save scumming.
I'll try to beat it, but so far it feels like a slog.

Ubisoft is having a wicked sale on PS3 currently, I got myself Rainbow Six Vegas 2, since I had always heard about how good it was, and so far the gameplay is great... However, there's horrendous audio issues with the download version of the game. Wish I knew that before buying it.

EDIT: The Walking Dead Season 2, Episode 2. Oh god, these cliffhangers, man.
