My friend let me borrow his USB Flashdrive with the movie "Dead Snow" on it, it's a German movie about Nazi Zombies, so I'm about to watch that...

EDIT: Just finished it, it was pretty cool, cheesy, but cool.

It was delayed? I've seen my friends on Live playing it...

PP: People who can't chew with their mouth open, I don't want to see what your eating, nor do I want to hear what your eating, especially when I can hear it from halfway across the room...
8403  General Discussion / Game Discussion / Re: What are you playing? Episode 2: Sequel Reloaded! on: October 28, 2009, 06:52:30 pm
Oblivion... Yup.
8404  General Discussion / Game Discussion / Re: What are you playing? Episode 2: Sequel Reloaded! on: October 28, 2009, 08:18:41 am
I've also played Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin, FF3, FF4, and several other DS games for a lot longer than that, only including the main story. I've probably played Contact longer than that, and I'm only halfway through.
Still though, considering these are DS games, 24 hours of gameplay or more is pretty impressive for such a little cartidge, but I guess that's to be expected with most RPGs.
Oh, and what's Contac like? I've heard it's kind of like Earthbound, or Mother or whatever.

Yeah I really need a ride, I keep putting it off, but I really shouldn't...

PP: Today in my Chef Training I was cutting tomatos, one kid offered if I would like to use one of his own knives, as he brings his fancy knife set in instead of using the ones provided for us because they're not sharp enough or some crap, anyways, I accepted the offer, and these knives are freaking sharp, I cut myself, and boy does it sting like hell. The best part? I got some of my acne cleanser into it, that doubled the pain!

I grew up with it too, watched the cartoon, played the game, had a shitload of cards, but then I just kinda lost interest, people moved on to things like... Yu-Gi-Oh, and stuff like that. Eh, can't like everything.
But yeah, I'm sure I could stretch out the play time in Mario & Luigi if I really wanted to, but when somebody asks me how long I spent playing a game, I only count time spent doing the story (Unless were talking something like Oblivion, Fallout, or maybe Fable), and not stuff like going back to get those secret items, or in this case, catch those other pokemon, or other such simple side-tasks.
But anyways...

Beat Oblivion, the main quest, still tons of game left to play though!

I lost interest in pokemon ages ago, because the games didn't change and the Pokemon just kept getting more stupid and unoriginal, no offense on your opinion or anything, it's just what I think.
I don't know how you can stretch that game out more than 5 hours, my sister can beat those games in less than 5 hours. Unless you maybe beat the game in 5 hours or something, then the rest is spent catching pokemon or something, the 24 hours spent with Mario & Luigi 3 is all story, there are optional side bosses I believe.

Haven't seen any 80's horror movies. I never really watch horror movies. I just find horror movies to be lame, although I have always wanted to see evil dead, if that's classified as a horror...

Favorite movie nobody has heard of?

PP: Waiting for stuff you want NOW. In my case, Modern Warfare 2.

PP: Also, I need my driver's license. NOW.
8414  General Discussion / Game Discussion / Re: Metro 2033 on: October 27, 2009, 06:36:25 pm
OK, so here's what I have gathered so far from the very little I have have read in the book so far, the year is 2033, and the main guy appears to be a young man by the name of Artem, and his friend whom I can't remember, only thing I know of the world being blown up is that it was blown up by nukes, not sure why, and I know that people are forced to live deep within old metro tunnels where they have colonies, so I believe this colony is in Moscow.
One dude tells a story of how one town was obliterated by large mutated rats, a gigantic swarm of them, when I say gigantic swarm, I mean it's like looking at a big fuzzy tsunami rushing through the tunnels, anyways, that killed all but 5 people in one town, and another town, another town had a bunch of scouts and soldiers go missing for no apparent reason, no traces of a struggle, just blood and no bodies, and another settlement was exposed to radiation and I believe they were all turned into freakish abominations with 3 legs, or 2 heads, that kind of stuff.
Also, outside of each settlement there are sentry posts, and scouts occasionally go to check down the tunnels, but nobody dares cross the 700 Meter mark far down the tunnels, as most who do, don't come back, they only send the hardcore war veterans to about 630 Meters out via a tram.

Anyways... just download the translated stuff, and you can find out for yourselves!

I read a bit of the translated chapters of the book (Which are poorly translated) and it seems as though there's weird mutants which inhabit the tunnels 700 meters out from the survivors small colonies towards the surface, and the unbarble radiation, in the book there was also giant mutated rats that killed an entire colony leaving only 5 survivors I believe it said.
If the game turns out like what I'm reading, were going to have a pretty fun game. Cheesy
