I did not know they made rednecks outside of the US. I would have thought God got it out of His system with those of us He inflicted on Americans.

And yes, I am your friendly trailerhood high tech redneck... and damn proud of it until they get all stupid with the inbred, racist white boy shit. Then, not so much.

Howdy hyall

I'm Nicholls from the hicks, this is my first time on a forum although I've been knocking round on this one for a while now.
I've got a partner and a two year old boy who is a charming little scumbucket.
I'm a big fan of webcomics and I enjoy Jenny's work so I'm just hanging round until the action starts back up again.
Not really from the hicks anymore I live in Christchurch now but I did grow up on a farm and for kicks I go back home to milk cows and help out.
I'm a fan of what I describe as " fd-up" movies basically anything that leaves you with an emotional kick eg blurred, go, train spotting, deliverance, however I can't stand gore movies.

As for books I'm a massive terry Pritchett fan and I also quite like Stephen king short story's.
Work is stress at the moment so that stays in its little 9 to 5 box except if I have to work late.

And that's me

you should acquaint yourself with the "modify post" button, good person.

so im kinda back at my usual schtick. Clerks 2 has definitely lost a ton of its lusture as ive grown up. just isnt hitting the same emotional notes as it used to. Maybe its just not the same since ive fallen out with a lot of my close friends from back in the day since theyve moved away.
Holes is still a total underrated classic to me though.

And ive kinda developed a new sort of appreciation for the hipster netflix staple, Frank. Idk what it is. upon first viewing im made uncomfortable to see what im seeing, but a movie that sits with you for WEEKS like this one does has to count for some kinda good.

How about bad boy bubby, or goodbye pork pie. I'm a big fan of goodbye pork pie, but I wouldn't watch bad boy bubby again even though in my mind it is classic.

I used to be a big fan. Now I find David quite psychotic. Trying to watch mash currently.

Pretty much spot on, actually. Neither is really worth the brain cells, though with Teeth there is some redeeming value for sadistic uncles who think their nephews could use a bit of warping.

I have to agree, posting exterior links, especially ones that are promotions for something in your first (and so far only post) are huge spam red flags.

If you actually are interested in hanging around here please feel free to repost your link at a later time.  But first, talk to the other members, get to know everyone.

I've been binge watching the Dr. Who revival.  I know a lot of people love David Tennant's run as the Doctor but I really didn't care for it and almost stopped watching.  I'm glad I stuck it out though, Matt Smith is great, I like him almost as much as Tom Baker.
