Who would win between these three? - Hunters from Half-Life 2: Episode 2 - Librarians from Metro 2033 - Bloodsuckers from S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Call of Pripyat (They can actually turn completely invisible in that game.) My money's on the Librarians.

I just want to say that I wholly approve of this thread and when there's a topic where I've encountered more than one of the subjects, I will join in.

Considering how broken the Librarians are in the game, the tons of rounds it takes to kill just one, and how they're insanely brutal in the actual book, I'd have to go with them.

I'd go with Hunters, since they have anti-matter flechettes. The kind that will disintegrate practically anything it hits.

Librarians. Simply because librarians are awesome. Books to the face, especially some of the encyclopedias? Ouch. ... Wait, wrong ones?
XD Still going with the librarians, they seem to be horrifyingly difficult to kill.

They are. D:
In the book (And the game too, I guess), you have to look them right in the eye, turn your back on it for even a second, and its all over. They're also attracted by loud noises.
In one part of the book, (I'll try keep this as spoiler free as possible) two characters are in the archives of a library, one of the two needs to find a book of some sort there, the room appears to be clear when they enter. One guy goes off to find his thing, the other holds his ground to make sure nothing gets in, other character comes back and his friend is gone, but quickly finds him nearby barely alive, being mauled by the librarians. All in the same room, with not a sound made.
Creepy as hell. xD

I'm gonna go with Lord Sappington, the Hunters because of their anti-matter flechettes.
I mean, they stab into you first and then they explode and disintegrate whatever's there...

Yeah, but remember the flechettes are also its weakness. In Episode 2, if you got the flechettes on an object, and shot it back at the hunter it'd pretty much be an insta-kill. And then the combine energy ball things as well.

I don't think that'd be much of a problem, since they don't have gravity guns or pulse rifles.

Yeah, but remember the librarians are described as "Quasi-intelligent" and are EXTREMELY fast. That coupled with the slower speed of the flechettes could make a pretty significant difference. Also remember the bloodsuckers can turn invisible AND move extremely fast. 'Might not be so one-sided.

I think: Hunter dominates hallways/corridors, Bloodsucker dominates forests/marshlands, Librarian dominates open terrain/tunnels/any other close quarters (I don't really know their capabilities since I've never played the game or read the book)
