So here's something new:

I'm sure we all know how much power music can have in general. It can move us to tears or make us so elated that we might as well be high. And I'm also sure many of you know that music has been used since it's inception to stir troops to victory.

So here's what this thread is about. Not the soundtrack to your apocalypse adventure, not your battle song, but the anthem you would play as you led your troops into battle with the zeds.

Keep in mind that it would have to have some basic universal meaning. Something everyone can appreciate as 'fuck yeah, let's kick their asses'

bohemian rhapsody

Or Under Pressure

not because they are Queen, but because they are songs that are easy to sing to

Okay, I wouldn't do it myself, but I have to admit the thought of an army slaughtering zeds while singing Bohemian Rhapsody in unison is bloody hilarious. Grin

IS THIS THE REAL LIFE. *Chatter of gunfire* IS THIS JUST FANTASY. *Clatter of gunfire* etc.

that's why I'd have that song!

Under Pressure is also a funny ironic song for the job, because really, shooting Zombie hoards  to :

Pressure pushing down on me
Pressing down on you no man ask for
Under pressure - that burns a building down(because it's full of Zombies)
Splits a family in two(because they became a zombie)
Puts people on streets*bbbbraaaaiinnns*
Um ba ba be
Um ba ba be
De day da
Ee day da - that's o.k.
It's the terror of knowing
What this world is about
Watching some good friends
Screaming 'Let me out'

It would have to be a rock or metal song of some sort. Something to really get everyone riled up and ready for battle.

This is the first song that came to mind, if I thought about it more I might find something I would want more, but this basically makes me imagine running into battle with zeds.

Maybe not an anthem per say but I could definitely see this playing during the night where the only safety is within the light and next to your weapon...

Ooo! what about
"Don't stop Believing!"

If i'm fighting a zombie war, i don't need a "bring meh down" song.
