Dethklok, you missed one important thing: suspension of disbelief. I didn't miss it - What I'm saying is that I'm surprised that the community doesn't just apply it. Barring some supernatural event which would take me very much by surprise, the dead will never walk the earth devouring the flesh of the living. Trying to explain undead zombies only underlines the impossibility of their existence. In fact, such explanations often backfire; just look what midichlorians did to The Force. Also not all zombie variants are undead. RIGTH LIEK I SAIDS TEHYN CAN BE CRAZY PEPLE LIKE ON 28 DAYS LATR OK THX BYE1 (LEET HAXTOR, NTO A ZOBMIE!!!)

I SAY YES IT IS TOTALLY A ZOMBIE THIS LOOKS EVERY BIT LIKE A ZOMBIE IT EVEN HAS A ZOMBIE BUTT EVEN THOUGH IT DOESN'T SHOW ON THE PICTURE!!! ZOMBIE ZOMBIE ZOMBIE!!!
Also I wouldn't like a movie to elaborate too much on the science of zombiism, but as a thing between fans I see no wrong in it. It's not canon, if you find an explanation you dismiss it.

IF IT LOOKS LIKE A ZOMBIE, SHOOT IT IN THE HEAD. IF IT DIES, IT MUST HAVE BEEN A ZOMBIE.

Well it's got me to thinking, anyway. Even if the traditional undead zombie isn't plausible outside of a fantasy / comic book setting, what is it about zombies that actually makes them scary? * Contagous * Mindless * Fearsome aspect * Attack the uninfected Don't rabid animals and people meet these three criteria? If so, is rabies actually the classic zombie virus? I MEAN I'M YELLING! IN ALL CAPS!

zombies could very well be feeling pleasure when they catch and eat a person. They might even express it, making zombies even more creepy...
ZOMBIE BONERS.

ZOMBIES HAVE BONERS BY DEFAULT. Really, veins in the arms and legs have valves that act as pumps when the limbs' muscles press on them. Since zombies' hearts don't work, their blood goes mostly down, but since they walk, muscle pump action pushes it up from the legs, therefore the highest pessure is met at hip height. ZOMBIES HAVE THE HUGEST BONER THEY EVER HAD.
