Absolutely. The former and any of it's variants are far worse than anything you or I could come up with in the latter.

Not really right now, though I suppose I'm just settling into Uni. I go to Uni 3 days a week (and get home pretty late), and then I spend my weekends working. I don't see my friends often at all, I haven't made many at Uni, I spend most of my time doing assignments, so at the moment I'm a little stressed.
Do you frequently skip lectures, or do you attend every one?

Uni can be a bit like that, it is really hard to make friends when there are sooo many people, who all do different things, have different timetables, and all that. Easier for those who live on campus, but otherwise I would suggest joining one of the many groups that I'm sure your uni will have (most do).
and now to answer your question,
I go to lectures as much as possible, as it has been proven that those students who go to all lectures do a lot better in terms of their assessments and tests.
What do you find the most boring 'chore' (as in those things that need to be done, but aren't always fun) that you have to do daily?

I don't really have any daily chores. But my least favourite would have to be either cleaning the kitchen or the bedroom or living room floor. Probably the latter as I get help with the former. The floor involves vigourously rubbing it to ball up the large amounts of shed hair. Blech.
