I usually don't wear glasses unless I'm watching tv, a movie, am driving, or anything that involves reading/watching something a bit far away.

Nope. It was supporting my head, which I am quite capable of holding up using other muscles.

I honestly don't know much about my bloodlines. I think I have a bit of Cherokee, but that's about it. The rest, I say, is simply redneck.
How far back can you trace your ancestry?

I can trace back my dad's but not my mom's. Six brothers traveled to America and they all changed their last names because my surname was a lot longer than four letters. So, a few went to Canada and the others went to America, settling in various spots in New York. It was cool.
any interesting ancestry stories ?

One of my ancestors was allegedly a co founder of newfound land (Or so my grandma says, not sure its true), another ancestor of mine founded a small town called peachville or peachtown or something, I went there when I was younger, and then apparently years and years ago one of my ancestors was the duke of a town but got hung at the gallows after stealing a horse. I have no idea if the first bit and the last bit are true, my grandma told me those stories and she does tend to lie or embellish the truth a lot.
You?

When I was told to research my family history I found some..... Mildly disturbing things. Like the assassination attempts. Apparently my mother's side of the family came from Norway a long time ago.
Any more?

My undisclosed amount of great grand father came from poland pre WW2, should point out jewish here too. Student, went traveling the world, went to a dance show one night in england and fell in love with one of the dancers. Stalked her, charmed her, married her and was banished from the family for it because she wasnt jewish i think? Anyway he sets up a life with her in merry olde england, WW2 rolls around. Lucky break for me i guess?
Some more?

Okay, my 80-some-year-old grandfather was a medic in WW2. I have a picture of his 18-year-old self next to a German tank. But any stories further than that, I'd have to check the family history book from my paternal grandmother's side, and I don't feel like getting up right now.
Do you know what your ethnicity is (if so, share it!)?

my parents both came from mexico, but my great grandfather was german on my mother's side and my father's grandfather was french.
thus I am one pale Hispanic. *I also freely admit I don't understand the difference between Hispanic/Chicano or Latin to me, they all mean the same thing*
Same question to whomever is next.
