While I like the sawed-off nagant the paperwork to make it legal in the US would be 4 times more than the actual rifle.
And a new AK ?!?! What happened to the impossible to move giant safety lever that would slice your hand open of if you didn't file it smooth?

Fixed the link!
But yeah, they ditched that giant bar of a safety. It'll be interesting to see this thing in use.
I just wish we had a Canadian Legal AK. :C

The US Show Show 2012 was last week, it's the US gun industry's biggest event of the year where all the manufacturers reveal their new stuff to the media and the retailers.
Lot's of zombie themed stuff at the show this year.

Yeah I read about it. Those zombie targets look interesting, and I like EOTech's Zombie Holo Sight, though it reminds me too much of Call of Duty. xD

I don't know why they don't just make a sight in the shape of a head so you know exactly when you pull the trigger.

Nah man, just put a plastic slide in that has the shape of a head and you just line it up and shoot, it's easy.

Nice, but I would like to see the gun in action to see if this is a viable weapon, I have some doubt on the effectiveness of the chainsaw (no option to change if battery depleted ?)

Yeah, joke gun. Double Star is a new player in the AR rifle industry, they have a steep hill to climb to get since the market is flooded with other established companies. That said I may go to them for the upper portion of my AR build. pics will come when the rest of the parts come in.

$200 tax stamp with the ATF and then just cut the barrel. You'd have to keep the stock but whatever. But then again I live in a lax-law state. Or someone could pre-mod some before importing and sell them as Bolt-action pistols legally.

That being said I picked up a nice condition Soviet 1943 model 1891/30 mosin on an impulse purchase today for $80. Going to go pick up a can of ammo (440 rounds) for $90 and a set of $20 stripper clips. Also picking up a SIG-M400 (I can get one for cheap), some P-mags, a box of 1000RDS of Lake City 5.56, and a glock G19 plus 100 rounds of federal 9mm once my tax return comes in.
