It kinda sounds like an updated version of Outbreak. I was hoping for zombies, but I think it's pretty cool that it's just a regular virus and stuff.

What are your thoughts?

It was one of the previews for Captain America and they showed a lot of the plot in just three minutes.
At first I thought it was alright but when it showed survival mentality with a shotgun, it got better. Can't wait to see how it ends and how important the monkey was.

I think it will be interesting. I did wish it was zombies, but what they're going at here it will certainly be interesting. A must see for me.

Especially when I saw the trailer again and saw the monkey.

But, I heard it was more of scientists racing for a cure and what HK said, survival mentality since they cannot explain how the virus got there and stuff. Especially since it keeps evolving, now that's interesting.

Let's hope that how everything is revealed doesn't suck.

Totally forgot about the evolving virus part. If they can make it work convincingly and without any kind of deus ex cop-out or ass-pull, it deserves a few awards.

I smell ham-handed social commentary and a taste of a play for an Oscar. I can't put my finger on it, but I feel lie the movie that'll come out will not be nearly as interesting as that trailer makes it seem. I will bet this movie will get high critic reviews because seems the pros eat crap like this up, but most people will not like it.

I drove past a big movie theater near where I live and they had a giant Contagion poster on the outside. Kind of a cool poster, they had a bunch of city names in descending order and they were spelt out in like a grey color, but one letter from each was highlighted black going down and it spelt Contagion.
