XD Not at all, hahah. It's kind of fast-paced I think. It has the general feeling of "Cotton-Eyed Joe", but more happy sounding.
EDIT: Also, I realized he might not be saying "doo bah deh~", it just sounds that way in my head. XD

Sammich, do you know how many songs you just described? where did you hear this song? what genre do you think it might be? Do you remember ANY words of the lyrics that are actually words?

XD Gahahah.
Well, I've heard it multiple places. One place was a YouTube video of someone goofing off in Garry's Mod, and I think there was a flying car. I think I also heard it in another Garry's Mod video where they were throwing L4D enemies into a blender (I've since looked up that video again, but the sound was removed). Also, it might be techno. Or it just has that "unce, unce, unce, unce" type rhythm. It also has a country-ish feeling to it, like it's either a country song or someone remixed it and made it techno. I hear the sound, but the instruments are so hard to figure out. I'll try to do the exact tune of the guy singing, but it probably won't make sense: "Doo-bah-doo doo doo d-doo doo, d-doo doo doo-bah-doo. Doo-bah-doo-doo-bah-doo-doo-bah-doo-bah-doo-doooo". The second section, after the period, might be wrong cause he's singing quickly and it's hard to make out the pronunciations. Yeah, I know. Ridiculous.

I think I know what you're talking about, and I was just listening to it not too long ago, but I can't remember who sang it or what it was called. I found it in my history: Chacarron MacarronEdit: It doesn't really sound like that from your description.

Nah, it's not that. The singer's voice is high-pitched and the song has a country-feeling to it.

Okay, so there was a Japanese music video on some anime site I used to go to that doesn't seem to be around anymore. I remember it was about a robot, a humanoid one, and part of the way through it these people wearing demon masks showed up. It was really strange, and I liked the song, but I can't remember anything else about it.

Good stuff as usual, Sap. First off, some creepy gothic music: "La Mort D'Arthur" - Sopor Aeternus"Backbone Practise" - Sopor Aeternus"Encoded Cloister" - Sopor AeternusAlso, I'm looking for a song. It's a song, you see. And it has music noises. Yup. ... Okay, so it has a female singer. She sounds kind of like Alanis Morissette, or the lead singer of The Cranberries. For all I know it might be one of them. But, I think the song is darker toned. There is a string instrument(s), like a violin or string quartet, that makes up the main melody, which goes something like this: " DUM DUM DUM DUM DUM DUM DUM DUM" And that probably didn't help at all. XD Goddammit do I suck at explaining songs. Anyway, I think the singer has a bit of a yodel, which reminds me of Alanis Morissette or The Cranberries. I'm shooting more towards Cranberries though, cause Alanis doesn't usually make darkish songs. ... *Sigh*

What about Jagged Little Pill? or do you mean the sound and not the lyrics? And can you remember any bit of the lyrics at all?

It was both the sound and lyrics. Not dark dark, but it had a depressing side to it, it felt like. And no, I can't remember the lyrics. I heard it on the radio a while ago, then heard it once another time recently. Never got the song or band either time. I remember something about "wither away", but I'm probably wrong.

what genre would you say it is? I am trying to look it up, but there are a TON of "dark" female singers.

Hmmm...The only real instrument I can remember is the string quartet, but I know there are more instruments. It might be rock, but not hard rock or anything grungy. More like they have a rock influence, but go outside of the realm. Alternative maybe? So I tossed the tune into FLStudio. It has the tune of the voice and the tune of the string thingy. Yuss.
