I refuse to pre-order, because i dont like getting a book by any means other than going to the bookstore, searching for it, finally finding it, hopping to the casheir line, them seeing my anticipation, and me flat out booking to the car, going home, and reading the SHIT out of it. And besides, I dont think I can anymore, so whatever, i dont even mad.

You know, come to think of howlers; imagine in the initial outbreak, you've found some place to hole up for the night; but you have to sleep with the hellish screams of howlers as they hunt for their prey in their background. It's a scary image. I love this comic.
I hadn't considered that before. Yet another moment that I wish I knew flash.

Stan, I definitely understand that feeling. Unfortunately, I can't promise we'll be able to get a place in a store near you- most distributors won't (or don't, perhaps from habit) carry webcomics. Once we get our ISBN later this month, I'll be able to shop the book around and see who is interested in carrying it, but at this point in time, all I can really say is that you can always get it online here, and we will almost certainly be listed on Amazon, as well.
Cheez, we are sorry it has taken so long to make. There have been a lot of lessons learned on this project- everything from funding to production schedules. At the moment, I'm having to see about breaking the order into two shipments, with the first batch sent via air freight, just to avoid even more schedule slip. So... that'll be interesting.
Our goal is to get our act together enough that we'll have book two out next year, without this year-long ramp-up period beforehand. (Our *very tentative* plan would be to go from preorder to release in six months, but the thing about deadlines... they make this funny sound as they go whooshing by...)

I remember I was in the anime/book/comic store "outland" when in Oslo and there I saw a couple of issues of FreakAngels and LICD. So, some webcomics do manage in comic book stores. Note that both those comics are American and that store was in Norway.

Blind Ferret Entertainment (the company that LICD created to promote their work) is also five years older than Black Moth Design (the company we are creating to promote ours).
It takes a while to get on the distributor lists. We'll be doing our best to get the book pushed out to stores, but at this point in time, we simply can't promise that it will be available in physical locations near where you live.

And "unrealistic" and "too far fetched" is mostly the same thing.

Ah! There is still no blood on the lady's hands! That must be because Jenny is overburdened! That is probably because she is depressed that all the books spontaneously combusted and she doesn't wanna tell! That must be caused by the books actually being living beings who saw pigs fly and just couldn't handle it! That must be because the NWO is doing genetic manipulation of pigs while preparing to make the ultimate supersoldier!

Yeah, what if the fucker becomes a Howler or a Basilisk? That would show a clear lack in the safety procedures. The moment he turns, everyone could quickly be in grave danger. Doesn't matter if there are three officers in the room if a Howler disables them unexpectedly. And a basilisk... well that woman would be in immediate danger.
yess... i hate thought like that and checked back to see other peoples on it... it needed to be spun in a milo death theory! the halo guy that is currently changing becomes a howler or basilisk and stuns and kills all near... with them changed the base falls apart.... zombie hunters are send to investigate milo explores with charlie and gets attacked and bitten by zombie megan and charlie takes em both out thus earning hate from jenny!

Cassadar summoned me to post a Milo Death theory after his:
That guy changes into a spitter but since there was another one in the area the Earth's crust is already weakened, and adding that one the acid melts all the way to the magma layer and a volcano erupts. The ashes rain down onto the ocean where Milo was skinny dipping. They mix with clay particles already in the water and form cement. Milo crawls onto the beach before drowning but is turned into a statue before he can find help. On the plus side the cement beach makes an excellent seating for new docks if they come to be needed.

Plus, the bookshop ones won't have the totally awesome sketches and stuff in 'em. Absolutely no problem mate. I get that you've been learning stuff, and to be honest, it'll just be even cooler when I do get it. Note that both those comics are American and that store was in Norway. Pretty sure FreakAngels is British, dude.
