Hang in there Jenny! And Greg too!
Hey do you guys need a line on getting work? This is totally off the top of my head, but I buy a fair amount of RPG books (the paper and pencil variety). There's a lot of smaller publishers (not WotC) that seem to be constantly hurting to find reliable artists. I have no idea what sort of rates they are offering but it might be worth a look.
The company I buy most from is Hero Games. You could PM either Darren Watts or Steve Long on
their forums. Hero Games is also associated with
Indie Press Revolution. (Darren Watts is, I believe, its president now.) I'd think that you could hang out your shingle at Indie Press Revolution, which has many authors and companies, and get exposure to quite a lot of potential work.
These guys are all busy as heck (they're all independent business men too), so don't be discouraged if you don't get any initial reply. Just keep sending them inquiries and samples until they say "No, seriously, go the hell away!" or they give you some work.
Anyway, I have no idea if you're interested in this sort of thing, so I'll end my wall of text here. If you do think you'd like some more infos, post back or PM me and I'll do what I can.
(P.S. I have your book! It's fantastic!)
